August Pov 
I woke and felt you my right for Jasmine but she wasn't in the bed. I sat up and and looked around.
I went downstairs to find Jasmine on the couch sleep.
" Jay, Jasmine!" I said
" mm?" She mumbled
" baby why you on couch?" I asked
" sfgnicnnuv." She told me
" what ?" I said
" I said , I was hungry and I felt like the stairs would be a long way for me so I just sat here and watched tv which turned into me sleeping." She told me
" and what time was this?" I asked helping her up
"Round 4. I tried to wake you up but you was like ughhhhh, let me sleep ." she told me mocking me at the end
"Ion even sound like that so ." I told her walking into the kitchen.
"Uh yeah you do." She said walking behind me
" so what you cooking daddy?" She asked
" food that you gon eat luv." I told her
"Well I'm going to wash me body." She told me
" don't you mean my?" I asked
" no I mean me ... Like a pirate babe." She told me
"I see." I told her
As I was making her plate the door bell rung
"Ooo, shit dude what chu doing here?" I said hurrying to close the door behind me.
" I'm sorry Jasmine hasn't been answering my calls or texts and I just - August I wanna see her man, I need to be in her life . I want her meet her sister and my wife." He told me
"Man popping up at this house at gone cut my dude." I told him
" I thought you said you was gonna talk to her for me August." He told me
" look mane, I've threw hints out hear and there. Look ill sit down with her today and see what she say." I told him turning back toward the door.
"Wait hold on a second." He said grabbing my arm
" I turned at looked at him like he was crazy.
" sorry ." He said realizing my facial expression
" do you think you two could come to dinner tonight with us over at Finland's  at 8:30?" He asked
" ..... Who?" I said looking confused
" you ... And Jasmine." He said
" oh naw buddy she ain't going for that." I told him
" you didn't even check ." He told me
" don't need to . No disrespect James but you don't know Jasmine I do , but I tell you what I'll convince her to come, if not I'll tie her down herself and bring her myself. What time you said 9:20?" I asked
" 8:30 at Finland's . I really appreciate it August. I just want her to know I'll do anything to be back in her life." He told me
" well.... You know she really did like that package you sent with all the candy and stuff." I told him
" so you suggest I send another one?" He asked
" yeah. But look mane I got food on the stove I have to attend to see you tonight dude." I said walking inside.
" oh geez you scared me , why were you outside?" She asked
" uh I was uh checking ." I told her
" checking what?" She asked
" whether ." I said quickly
" the whether? What's wrong with the whether ?" She asked tryna go toward the door. I grabbed her and pulled her into the kitchen
" nothing I just heard that it was suppose to rain today." I said
" oh , food looks good." She told me walking up to the stove. I went up behind her and wrapped my arms around her
" mmhmmm." I said kissing her cheek
" so tonight ." I started off
" tonight what ?" She said turning around.
" uhh umma tell you later when you finish eating. I told her
" okay, this my plate?" She asked pointed
" yeah , umma go take a shower k?" I told her
" okay . She replied

" hay August what if I had an alien baby instead of a human." She told me out of the blue.
" then you got some explaining to do on why you were fucking an alien." I told her

Jasmine Pov

" are you serious ." I told him laughing
"Dead ass luv." He said smiling
" so what did you have to tell me earlier in the kitchen?" I asked
" oh uhh .. nothing." He said looking at the tv
" August ." I said
" Jasmine." He said
I turned the tv off.
" yooo.. They was finna show who did it! Why you turn it off ?!?" He said to me
" I don't care , answer me." I told him
" your father wanted us to come to dinner." He told me quickly grabbing the remote and turning bout on the tv.
" he what ? When was this?" I asked
" ohh shit I did not see that coming , damn , see that couldn't have been me . Muthfucka would have been dead." He said looking at tv. It went on commercial and he looked at me.
" this morning." He told me
" and you just now tellin me?!" I asked
" I was gon tell you earlier but i spent time on that breakfast and I knew if you got mad you wouldn't eat it." He told me
" August I'm serious ." I told him
" so I'm I. I know how you get Jay when you mad you don't wanna listen to nobody you get moody then you get silent and do you." He told me
" look all he asked was that we come to dinner because he really wants to see you and want you to meet your sister and his wife." He added
" well since you so buddy buddy with him you can tell him I'm not going." I told him
" well, I kinda already told him we was going so." He told me
" wow, are you serious right now?" I asked
" dead ass." he said
" look to be honest I'm tired of this shit between you and him I'm done sending the messages and being the middle of yall stuff - nobody asked you to be in the middle , you the one who decided to get in between." I said cutting him off
" mane whatever , you got all this angry inside you because your past and  because you ain't talking to nobody about it and you don't listen to me when I try to help then you try and take it out of me so I don't know what you want from me." He told me
" i want you to leave me alone ." I told him
" whatever ,I'm gone, I got shit to do anyway." He said
I watched him grab his keys and phone and leave.
