"I don't want to go home yet." the girl announced.

"Where do you want to go?" the boy asked while stuffing his hands into his pockets on their way to the elevator doors.

"Some place magical." the girl giggles.

She has no intention of going anywhere with this stranger alone except maybe ride the elevator together. Because that is the first thing she remembered being taught.

The boy frowned thinking of a place to take her and then he smiled.

"stay away from strangers. Especially boys because they are dangerous and unpredictable."

As if all boys are wild animals.

"Which they are."

She tried to shake of her mother's voice that seemed to control her even from continents away.

"I know just the place." he said and her eyes lit up involuntarily with curiosity.

When she hadn't responded, he nudged her shoulder with his.

"You up for it?" he asked giving her a side ways glance and hoping that she would say yes.

She looked all around trying to avoid his gaze and after the elevator hit the bottom floor, she finally made up her mind.

"Let's go."

"Where are we going?" she asked once they were outside the building.

"Don't think, just run!" he said while he took her hand and pulled her all the way in the rain to the other side of the road.
