Transcend
Pale, cream white walls
The gentle light
Through dark night
Flooding through circular windows
Golden carpets glitter
Silent steps fall
Wooden figures tell stories on the walls
A tiny table
Made for the greatest feast of all
Red lantern burns to its right
Candles all around
Silence, make no sound
Eyes follow the wispy smoke, up, and up
Never quite far enough to reach heaven
Yet far enough to watch it curl around the dome above
A box with golden complexion
A man in flowing robes stands
He holds something in his hands
Freeze this moment that transcends all time
Because there, in his hands
There in his eyes
All around
I see you again
I am yours and you are mine
