Melanie's POV

I paced back and forth.

Yes.

No.

Yes.

No.

I groaned in frustration. I sat on my bed putting my head in my hands.

I hear a knock on the door. I look up to see Niall standing in the doorway.

"Hey Princess are you okay?" He asks, his bright blue eyes shining.

I sigh. "Yeah I'm fine. I'm just having--"

"Second thoughts?" Niall suggests for me.

I look down, unable to face him. "Yeah."

We sit in silence for a few minutes.

"Hey, look at me." He says, tilting my chin up. "I knew this was going to hard for you Mel. Whatever you choose I'm going to support you. We can work it out."

I smile and peck him on the nose lightly.

"How did I get so lucky?" I say, smiling.

Niall shrugged. "You tell me."

I laugh. "Niall, I'll go with you. I'm nineteen years old. I need to learn to move on sooner or later."

I didn't think it was possible but Niall's eyes became brighter instantly.

"Really? Are you sure?" He asks, his beautiful smile getting wider.

"Yeah. Don't I have you with me?" I say, bumping his shoulder with mine.

"Yup."

"Good, well that's all I need." I say, throwing my arms around his neck hugging him tightly.

"I am going to miss you so much Mel." Alli says, hugging me tightly.

"Me too Al." I say, hugging her back.

"Text me when you can and Skype." She says, smiling.

"Of course. And you'll come to one of the shows as well." I say, smiling.

"Awesome. Let me go say goodbye to the boys." She says, hugging me one more time before going to the boys.

I walk up to Ashton who was standing next to the boys.

"Hey Melly Belly." He says, making me flinch.

"I thought we were past this." I say, scowling.

He laughs. "You are. I'm not."

I shake me head as he pulls me in for an embrace.

"I'm going to miss you Mel. A lot." He says, making my eyes water.

"Me too Ash. I'll be home soon. Before you can say Laters." I say smiling.

"Laters." He says, smirking.

"Very funny." I say dryly.

"Love you Mel. Be good." He says, ruffling my hair.

"Love you too. I will." I say, taking Niall's hand and getting ready to board the bus.

As I get on the stairs, I take one last look behind me.

I wave to my brother and best friend.

Before I get in, I hear them scream, "Make sure you use protection!"

I laugh. Here we go.
