Also this is Ollie, Billies mum.

The following day had me holding doors open for Billie and his cast wrapped leg. After many x-rays, the doctors confirmed he had indeed broken his ankle after his fall. They also discovered that a rib or two may have been broken after the many horrific beatings from a man I once called my friend. He was still out there somewhere, most likely watching my every move. But even though Billie couldn't walk without support; I felt safer when I was around him.

I opened the car door for him and he gratefully climbed in with slight difficulty. I started the car and began to drive down out towards home, "So, Billie Joe Armstrong. It's Thursday the 9th of November 2015. And after a month you are finally going home. How do you feel?"

"Are you supposed to sound like someone doing an interview?" He chuckled.

"Duh! Now come on, answer the question."

"Alright, alright! I feel relieved, nervous and tired. But I want to get back into my own bed." He sighed and watched the buildings and trees fly by. His right hand held mine as I drove, comforting me. "I got a call from the boys. Apparently we aren't doing the show this Saturday."

Shit, I knew this was coming.

"I know. I'm so sorry Billie." I thought the rest of the journey would become awkward. His response surprised me though when he looked at me with a sad smile and squeezed my hand.

"It's not your fault. I'm just glad to be going home. With you." He grinned, showing his pearly white teeth.

"Ewww Billie. Don't be soppy." I groaned and returned my gaze to the road, hiding my blush. He laughed,

"YES! I made you blush! I fucking knew you were human! Do you really think I would say something like that for no reason?"

"I guess not." I replied with a giggle. The rest of the journey was a comfortable silence and I pulled up on Billie's driveway. Using his crutches he pushed himself up and hopped to his front door. He faltered before he opened it. I could tell he was hesitant and gave his arm a reassuring squeeze just as he turned the handle. It opened with a creak, then loud yells sounded from the room.

"WELCOME HOME!" They cheered and trapped Billie in a suffocating hug. Billie's mum sobbed whilst holding her son. The rest of us (Me, Bronty, Evan, Ray and Frank) shuffled to the kitchen where a party was brilliantly set out. I hugged Evan and the other boys, leaving Bronty until last.

"I still cant believe you're here." I grinned, taking a sip from my cold drink.

"I know. My parents were ecstatic, they cried for hours." Billie and his mum eventually came into the kitchen where we all helped ourselves to the spread. It was a quiet get together, perfect for Billie and Bronty's coming home. Then the door bell rang. Not wanting to separate the two families again, I answered the door revealing a very sorry looking Gerard. His stare remained at his feet as he fiddled awkwardly with the hem of his coat.

"Um. Hi." He said quietly.

"Hi." I replied almost as quietly.

"Can I come in?" He asked, meeting my eyes. I thought for a moment, "I never knew this was happening. I swear Millie. I would never want anything to happen to Bronty or Billie."

"I know Gee. Have you heard from him?" I asked, not really knowing whether I wanted him to say yes or no. Neither seemed appealing.

"No. I haven't talked to him for a while. He needs serious help Millie."
