Save me (Phan)

Chapter 4 (Part 1)

I called a cab to come pick us up and take us there, because knowing us, we'd get so drunk that we probably would not be able to drive home successfully, or my car would just end up somewhere or be stolen by someone, and I just didn't feel like risking it.   

"This is gonna be off the chaaainnsss" Jessica mused, and I could tell she was planning to go pretty hardcore tonight. We all were.   

I just really hoped that I would find someone there that would enjoy my company, and enjoy my ridiculousness as I got drunker and drunker. A drinking buddy. Yes please.   

I knew I had my friends, but the same thing would happen at the club that just happened at the cinema a couple hours ago. They would wanna go do their own things, so I would have to find something to do myself. Or someone to do... Hopefully. Oh my that'd be nice.   

After about 15 minutes of driving, the cab came to a stop, and we were parked right in front of the outstanding night club, surrounded by unique lighting and a crowd of people waiting to get inside. I paid the cab driver a decent amount of cash, and got out of the car, followed by my four bestfriends.    We headed to the back of the line, which seemed so far away from the entrance that we wondered if we would ever be able to get in. I looked around at all the people surrounding us, in front and back of us, talking loudly and getting pumped for the night ahead. I was pretty stoked myself honestly, and that never really happened because well, I never really do anything exciting. Hopefully tonight would pay off, and I'd at least leave with a few new friends... Or even better, a new boyfriend.   

That was one of the only reasons I agreed to come here, I just wanted to see if maybe I would meet someone. Of course I kept telling myself that I'd end up disappointed as usual, but hey, you never know unless you try.   

Finally, we only had a group of five in front of us, and then we would be let into the club. I don't think our feet could handle anymore standing, and we wanted to save much of our strength for the night ahead. We'd have to, with the amount we planned on drinking.   

The security people checked our ID's, to make sure we weren't little teenagers, and then let us in after they gave us the okay.   

There was some dubstep song blasting through the huge speakers in the back of the room by the stage, and people were raving like maniacs, everywhere. There were a few people just chilling at the bar, sipping on various drinks trying to relax. That's what I felt like doing first, I didn't just want to get right into the dancing and craziness because first of all, I couldn't dance. And second of all, in order for me to dance, I'd have to probably be pretty wasted.   

I just ordered a beer to start with, and then I'd start doing shots. That's usually how it went for me. Chris was the same, but Jessica and Becky always went for their girly, fruity cocktails. They were good though, I have to admit, and sometimes I'd order a few myself.   

It wasn't long until we began ordering shots, and drinking them excessively.   

"Here's to the... The night ahead!" Becky exclaimed as she held up her shot-glass, waiting for us to do the same.   

"To the night ahead!" We shouted in unison, clanging all our glasses together before we chugged the liquor within them.   

"You know what guys, I sh-should probably pee cause you know I didn't before we left" I said, beginning to slur my words a bit noticeably.   

"Go for it, but meet us back here! And hurry, we don't wanna drink without you!" Jessica exclaimed.    I turned my head and nodded to her as I began to walk to the restroom, and felt myself walk into something. No, someone.
