"Man, you're really leaving," I say, pinching the ends of my sundress.

"C'mon, Ven, it's only for a few days," Grant responds, leaning against his car.

"I know," I sigh, "It's just gonna feel weird, though. I'm used to your annoying presence besides me everyday."

"Hey!" Grant protests, crossing his arms, "I'm not annoying."

"Mmhm, sure."

Grants stares at me with an odd expression. I questionly look back at him, waiting for him to reply.

"Oh, god."

"What?"

"Nope, I can't leave," Grant suddenly says, "I don't know how I'll live without our banters, without physically talking!"

"Grant--"

"What the hell did you do to me, woman?"

I raise an eyebrow, "I did nothing, loser. But seriously, go have fun."

Grant runs his fingers through his hair, "Text me, okay? I don't care if I'm only gone for a few days. You better text me."

"Same goes for you," I quickly hug Grant, "Now, leave. I'm tired of your face."

"I'll miss ya," he says, climbling into his car.

"I'll miss you, too."

I wave to him as he drives away.
