All due respect

'Yes?' she snaps, impatiently.

The Allfather's eyes darken in anger, and he begins lecturing her on respect. Throughout his entire speech, she just glares at him, and silently frets over the broken god in his bedroom. Just as she's about to tell him where he can stick his precious humility, Frigga intervenes, staring poisoned daggers at Odin.

'Husband,' she says, 'With all due respect, shut up!'

Everyone flinches a little, and turns to stare at Frigga. Ignoring them all, Frigga turns to Ravennha, and nods once, dismissing her. And as much as she enjoys the look on Odin's face, she needs to get back to Loki. Smiling gratefully at her, she bows once more (God, she's so glad Loki taught her to bow) and flees. But when she re-enters the room, her heart stops.

Loki is laying in the exact same position she left him, quivering with silent tears streaming down his face. His eyes are wide open, but he doesn't seem to notice. He's whispering one word over and over.

'Sorry,' he says, and Ravennha moves to comfort him.

But then she freezes.

Her doppelgänger is standing in the corner of the room, a dark red bloodstain spreading where a knife is protuding from her chest.
