Hallucinations

A/N: I am so sorry. I found some AWESOME stories on here, two epic websites, which I HAD to go through entirely, and then I got distracted looking up Shakespeare quotes, joined the Mother-of-all-Flame-Wars (Which I won) on Marvel vs. DC, then majorly freaked out about the film Inception, and watched it thrice in a row, including all the credits, screaming 'NOLAAAN!' every time his name came up. Then I read wonderful fanfiction (FROSTIRON!!) and Youtubed all over the place. My Avengers poster fell off five times, and I wondered what I'd look like if it were possible for two men to have children, and my parents were Robert Downey Jr. , and Tom Hiddleston. And then if they were Tony Stark, and Loki. And what Nick Fury would be like as a godfather. And whether Natasha can really kill people with her thighs. SO... VERY ... BUSY.

And now, for some depressing scenes.

Loki's POV:

The Allfather was far more ingenious than Loki had given him credit for. He'd been stuck in a sort of dream-state for about a week. And it had taken him until yesterday to realise that it was purely the result of hallucinatory drugs. He was essentially in a hallucinogenic coma, but it felt real. Far too real. The Trickster had been tricked by the cruel illusions, The God of Deceit deceived by the twisted self-projections.

They had taken his memories, gone through his mind, and tried to destroy what little sanity he had left. Scenes appeared, and disappeared, seemingly at random, warped and distorted memories he'd had, good and bad. He'd been forced to relive the pain he'd suffered at the hands of the Titan, to watch over and over Savannah telling him that she did not love him any more. Repeated almost continuously, Loki was unable to look away, as Savannah sat up in a hospital bed, telling him that she'd betrayed her trust in him, and that she hated him. The times he had angered her to physical violence, from throwing things in his general direction, to punching him as hard as she could.

And then of the times that he had caused her pain. Like...

When Thanos stabbed her to get through to Loki, when he had slapped her whilst under the influence of Amora's spell, when Amora had her, and was torturing her, when he'd forced her to travel via. Bifrost, and she'd ended up being sick everywhere.

And his mind, under the influence of the thought-altering drugs, took those memories, and changed them, until he couldn't tell if he was awake or asleep, or where he was, or even who he was.

Let alone if he was.

But the thought of Savannah always pulled him through.

Barely.
