"You're amazing. You know that, right?" Lando pecked my lips.
"I do now." I grinned then puckered my lips for another kiss. He rewarded me with one.
"I don't mean to interrupt." Nick interrupted. I giggled in embarrassment.
"I'll be in the lobby." Lando walked away. I redirected my attention to Nick.
"Hey, Nick. I'm Mari-"
"Marissa Small, I know." He reached out to shake my hand. I took his hand in mine and shook it. "You're something else kid." He complimented.
"You have a lot of drive and I love that. You radiated ambition." He nodded.
"You can tell all of that just by looking at me?" I wrinkled my forehead.
"I've heard about you and I've seen your dance vids and competitions on the Internet. I'm impressed. It's going to be a really fun time working with you." He smiled.
"Thanks, I can't wait to get started." I cheesed.
"I'll see you soon." He patted my shoulder and walked away with a smile on his face.
I went to find Lando in the lobby, but I was blocked by a blonde-haired, green-eyed girl.
"I just want to apologize again for earlier. I was so nervous and I couldn't stand on my own two feet. I'm Rachel, by the way."
"It's fine. I got to redeem myself after hitting the floor. It's all good. I'm Marissa." I sent her a forgiving smile.
"Well Marissa, that would have never happened if I could have composed myself." She nervously laughed.
"It's okay. Don't worry about it."
"I heard you made it, congrats." She smiled.
"Yea, it's a dream come true. Did you make it?"
"Unfortunately no, but hey there will be more opportunities down the line. I got to go. I'll see you around superstar." She smiled.
"See ya." I waved and turned away.
My hand was taken, pulled in one direction, out the door, and to my car.
"I have to go to work." Lando leaned me against my car. "...but later we can celebrate your great achievement." He wiggled his eyebrows.
"Ha! Yea ok, maybe." I placed my hand on his chest.
"Call me when you get off work." I ordered.
"Yes. Ma'am" Lando kissed my lips, handed me my roses and walked to his car.
"Ri, I'll talk to you tomorrow with details about rehearsals and all that jazz. " Scott held his phone to his ear as he power walked to his car.
"Ok, Scottie." I blow him a kiss.
I searched for my keys. I couldn't find them. I looked around on the ground. I tapped my pockets and didn't feel anything. I must have dropped them in the studio. I jogged back up to the building and walked in.
I jogged to the room we were in. It was a few people in there chatting. I looked along the floor for my keys. Out of nowhere, I heard the sound of keys clinging around. "Looking for these, maybe?" I rose my head and found my keys in the hands of Justin.
