Pein rushed in my room as my world became fuzzy. He threw himself down and asked what to do.
"P-pull it o-out!" I barely managed to say that. if he didn't do it now, I was going to die. And clearly, Pein could see that. He tugged on it and I howled in pain. He stopped and I urged him to keep going. Deidara was starting to wake up now and he started to freak out again.
"Put something over her!" Pein yelled at him, not breaking his gaze away from my eyes. He tugged again and again while I whimpered. It wasn't coming out for some reason. This was by far the worst pain I've ever been through. I was crying out in pain and blood tears were pouring down my face. Deidara put his cloak over my chest and then he dragged Hidan out.
"Kakuzu!" Pein shouted for. Kakuzu ran into my room and knelt down to see the steak.
"Your strength is gone... hmmmmm...." Even he didn't know what to do. It was as if a light bulb flicked on over my head.
"Help me up." I tried getting up but couldn't do it on my own because of the pain that followed. Pein balanced me. I quickly stole a kunai from Kakuzu and stabbed myself right below where the steak was. Then with my hand I jolted my fingers in the wound and wrapped them on the steak from within. Pein gagged but Kakuzu seemed to know what I was doing.
"Stop, yo-" but before he could finish the sentence, I jerked the piece of wood with some of my gathered power from within my soul. I started shaking and threw my deadly weapon away from me. I dropped to my knees and took a ragged breath. The whole room was silent. Any normal being would be dead now from doing what I just did. And at last, my body couldn't take anymore pain and I just fell.
Into a cold bitter sleep.
