"Hey Madi." Tom smiled at me, meeting me in the hall.

"Hey." I smiled, closing my door.

"Darren's looking for you." He smiled, putting his hands in his pockets. He looked really nervous for some strange reason.

"Is he?"

"Yeah, he's in the car park. He asked me to come and get you." He smiled.

"He could've just texted me." I replied

"Sorry that you had to be the messenger again."

"It's fine." He laughed. We both made our way towards the stairs.

"I've got a class, so I'll see you later?" Tom asked, pointing a finger at me.

"Sure," I smiled and headed outside. I walked out of the uni building and saw Darren standing over by the parking lot. He waved at me, a huge grin on his face.

"Hey baby," he greeted me. I walked into his open arms. His cologne, made me weak at the knees, the smell so powering and delicious.

"Hey." I smiled into his chest. I looked up to him and smiled.

"Happy Anniversary babe." He pecked my lips. His lips were so soft against mine.

"Happy Anniversary." I replied, hugging him tight, sinking into his muscular chest. I could hear his heart beating like crazy in my ear. Was he nervous or something?

"I have a dinner reservation tonight at six."

"Where?" I asked concerned.

"You'll see." He winked down at me.

"Okay then." I replied sarcastically.

"Be at my room by five, or else." He smirked down towards me. I looked back at him, questioning what he just said to me.

"Or else what?" I asked seductively. His grin deepened, his eyes darkening.

"Oh you'll see." His eyes turned into a mysterious grey, his eyebrow raised, giving his young face wrinkles. I smiled and we walked arm and arm towards the university. The uni was quite modern, like the buildings around it. The architecture was to die for. I'm guessing that's why there are no plants around, a part from a few trees that they weren't allowed to demolish.

Darren and I have been in a relationship for four years, even though most of the time, it doesn't feel like it. He has made me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. He by far, is the cheesiest person I have ever met though. He always uses pick up lines around me, when it isn't necessary, because I'm already his. I can't help but laugh at his confidence. I have always wondered if he'd ever cheated on me during these four years, because most people see him as a player. I know I shouldn't think these things, but I see how they see it, because there are girls always looking at him, bashing there eyelashes, making seductive faces, and that definitely makes me feel on the edge. But I haven't caught him in the act, so that is definitely a positive.

We were walking in past the reception when I saw a girl in there with a few suitcases. Her brown hair flowed down past her shoulders. Was she new or leaving? I just ignored my thoughts and cuddled Darren, who wrapped his arm around me, up to the second floor, where all the dorms were. The dorms were quite small compared to rooms at the old college, but I don't mind, as I have a room to myself. It does get lonely in there, but it's somewhere I can have peace and quiet. Darren and I have tried talking to the council, so that we can share a room, but they wont allow boy girl dorm pairing, in case of any 'inappropriate behavior', like isn't that the point of different sex roommates? Darren most of the time, will just sneak into my room and 'stay the night', to 'study', when really that isn't happening at all.
