It was an average day for you, training to the point of complete exhaustion, before taking a break before continuing again, and you were currently walking down the way towards the training grounds.
"Oi, brat!" You hear the familiar voice of Levi calls out.
You stopped, and turned around, so that Levi knows that he has your full attention.
"I'm going into town so that I can get cleaning supplies, and you, along with the rest of the squad is coming along, I expect you to be ready to leave in five minutes." That's all Levi said before walking away.
You just stood there, trying to figure out what the hell just happened.
----------------Time Skip-----------------
You were in the middle of the town, and let's just say you were very excited in seeing the new sights.
Eld chuckled as he says "You seem to be very excited in being in town."
"Well, who could blame her, this is the first time outside of the castle." Gunther defends.
You ignored the conversation as you went up to Levi.
'Can I look around?' You wrote as you gave him a hopeful expression.
He let's out a sigh, before slightly nodding his head.
You gave him a large smile as you turned around, and started to dash off.
But, before you could even take the first step, Levi grabs your arm.
You turn your head in order to face him.
"I expect you to be right back here in fifteen minutes." Levi says, and you nod your head energetically.
He let's go of your arm, and you immediately dash off, but before you did, you could've sworn that you saw a ghost of a smile on his lips, but it could've been your imagination playing tricks with you.
You dash off, and you began to look at all the different shops that they had.
After about ten minutes of looking around, you began to make your way back to the meeting point.
But, as you walked past an allyway, a pair of hands grabbed you.
Out of instinct, you struggled with all of your strength, but they had a grip of steel, and refused to let go of you.
You then felt a fist come in contact with your stomach.
Your eyes widen, as you try and force yourself to stay awake, but soon the darkness consumed your consciousness.
But, before you fell into complete darkness, you heard something hit the ground, as a male voice says something about being rich.
____________Levi's POV____________
Its been about twenty minutes, and there's still no sign of (F/N).
"Maybe she got lost." Petra says worriedly.
"Tch, then we have no other choice. Everyone split up, and begin looking for her." I say.
"Sir!" They all shout as they salute, before heading off to find the brat.
I begin to walk off towards the direction that (F/N) went.
I walked for about ten minutes, but still no sign of (F/N).
I then began asking people if they saw a (H/C) haired girl walk by, but they all gave me the same answer, 'no'.
I was walking for another ten minutes, when I saw something on the ground near an allyway.
I walk towards it, and my eyes widen as I realize what it was.
It was (F/N)'s chalkboard, and her only means of communication.
'Why is it here? She wouldn't just drop this for no reason, and she would've noticed by now if it was missing.' I think, but then it suddenly clicked.
'Shit, don't tell me-' I think as I suddenly begin to run back towards the rest of my squad.
I find them all standing at our meeting point.
"Did any of you find her?" I ask, and they all shook their heads 'no'.
"Captain, what's that your holding?" Eren asks.
"Tch, its (F/N)'s chalkboard, I think she's been kidnapped." I say, causing all of them to stare at me wide-eyed.
"What do we do now?" Eld asks.
"Look for anymore evidence of where she might be." I say.
"Sir!" They shout as they salute before running off towards every direction.
I run towards a random direction, but that was when I saw two suspicious people.
One had a large bag slung over his shoulder, as he hands it over to the second guy.
"Oi, stop right there!" I shout as I run towards them.
The one holding the bag runs away, as the other guy who handed the bag to the other guy stayed behind. Most likely to try and stall me.
I click my tongue as the guy lunges at me, but I knock him out with a swift kick to the head.
Once he falls to the ground, unconscious, I start to drag him back to the others.
When I get to the meeting point, I tell Eld and Gunther to tie him up, and bring him to the HQ.
---------------Time Skip---------------
I had told Erwin what happened, so we tied him to a chair, waiting for him to wake up.
Once he finally regains consciousness, Erwin begins to talk.
"Where is the girl that you took?"
But, he stays silent. I click my tongue in annoyance as I walk up to him.
I land a punch on his face, resulting in a cracking noise from his now broken nose.
He howls in pain as I ask "Where is (F/N)."
He chuckles as he says "That girl is supposedly from the future, right? That means she's worth big money down in the underground district, but I'm sure she's long gone by now. Most likely sold to someone."
I growl in annoyance, before landing another punch to his face.
____________Your POV____________
Your eyes open groggily, but soon snap open when you remembered what had happened to you before blacking out.
"Hey boss, I think she's awake." Someone says, causing you look up to the man known as the 'boss'.
He was tall, had scraggly black hair, and had stubble on his face.
"Oh~, is that so, then let's have a good look at her then, the woman that's suppose to be from the future." The boss says as he walks up to you.
You manage to sit upright, even though your hands and feet are tied up.
You struggle, trying to get the ropes loose, all the while glaring at the man that is advancing towards you.
You move back a bit, trying to get away, but a wall behind you stops your movement.
'Dammit wall!' You think as you continue to glare at the man.
"Oh, look she's feisty too. I like that in women." He says as he licks his lips.
'Stay strong, you've been through worse. Stay strong. Say strong.' You repeat this in your head as the 'boss' starts to feel up your leg.
You try to move away, only to fail.
But, right before the man could do anything else, you hear the door slam open.
Both you, and the 'boss' snap your heads towards the door.
Only to reveal your savior.
'Levi.' You think as you suddenly feel relief rush over you.
___________Levi's POV____________
After getting the information that I needed out of the guy, I immediately tell my squad, and here we are now. In front of an old building in the underground district.
About ten people came outside in order to stop us.
"You guys take these guys on, I'll go inside and take care of the rest." I say, earning a nod from everyone as they ran out to fend off the henchmen, as I run inside.
I began to knock down every door, only to find them empty.
I finally kick down the last door, and I find a guy on top of (F/N).
I felt my blood begin to boil as two of the guy's henchmen began to run towards me.
I quickly knock them unconscious, and after I was finished with the two, I began to make my way towards the guy that was on top of (F/N).
He quickly scrambles up, and grabs a small knife from his pocket. He then launches towards me, and I swiftly kick the knife out of his hand, before I proceeded to beat the shit out of the guy, until he was unconscious.
I got up off of him, and began to slowly make my way towards (F/N).
She had her head tilted down, so that her bangs were covering her eyes.
I knelt down, and began to cut the ropes that bound her hands and legs.
After freeing her, she still sat in the same position.
"Oi, are you oka-" I was interrupted when (F/N) tackled me into a hug, knocking me back in the process.
I feel her grip tighten as she buries her head in the crook of my neck. I then feel something wet, and soon enough, I realize that she was crying.
Her shoulders shook as she let's out silent sobs.
I hesitantly rest my hand in her back, and began to try and sooth her by rubbing her back gently.
I then pick her up bridal style, and walked out of the room, with her still clinging onto me like a lifeline.
---------------Time Skip--------------
Once we got back to HQ, (F/N) had fallen asleep while clinging onto me.
I sighed as I began to walk towards her room.
When I got there, I shifted (F/N) in my arms, as I open the door, and closed it with my foot.
When I got inside, I carefully placed (F/N) on her bed.
I then gently pry her hands off of my neck, and place them at her sides.
I stare at her tear stained face as I think 'After all that she's been through, she never once did cry. But, after experiencing being kidnapped, she finally cried. She looked so vulnerable when she clung to me and cried.'
After covering (F/N) up with her blanket, I began to make my way towards my office.
When I was out the door, only one thought invaded my mind.
'Why am I so dedicated to protecting (F/N) from everything that's dangerous?'
