‘how would you know that I won’t hurt you? I hit you in your stomach once.’
‘yeah, but you were apologizing immediately what indicates that you didn’t mean to really do it’ she explained and I looked at Marcus
‘you hit my little sister!?’ I said with anger in my voice, I was angry at him, angry because he hit her
‘why’d you do that!?’
‘she was provoking me! It’s not my fault!’ he tried to defend himself, but I was going to hit him even if he apologized to me a thousand times. I started walking towards him, but when I was half a meter away Evangeline came to stand in between us.
‘why are you stopping him?’ Marcus asked her and she looked behind her to speak
‘because I think I hit you pretty hard…’
‘no, you didn’t he deserved much worse for pulling that stunt plus for hitting you’
‘what stunt?’ she asked me
‘cornering you’
‘yeah, but this was for both’ she said
“why is she defending him?”
‘why are you defending him?’ I asked her and she shrugged
‘I don’t know, I just don’t like it if I see someone get hit’
‘but you’ve been hit so many times and you kneed him’ Adam commented
‘yeah but he really deserved that’
‘why did I deserve that?’ Marcus asked her, she turned around, put her hands on her hips and she cocked her head to the side
‘are you serious?’ she asked him and the guys went from

‘yes, I’m serious’
‘you know why you deserved it’ she said and she poked him
‘no, you provoked me, so actually you deserved it’
‘but now we’re even’
‘how is it even?’
‘you hit me, I hit you’
‘but you hit me more’
‘yeah, but I warned you’
‘not the first time’
‘no but you took me by surprise and it’s a bit of a compensation, because you threw me in the water’
‘yeah, but… but…’ “damn it” he cursed in his head “should I apologize about that?”
‘yes you should’ I said and Evangeline and Marcus looked at me
‘what should who do?’ she asked me
‘Marcus should apologize to you’
‘why?’
‘because he threw you in the water’
‘but Marcus and I came to the conclusion that it’s a draw’
‘we didn’t discuss that yet’
‘well I came to the conclusion that it’s a draw’ she corrected herself after his comment.
I looked around and I saw all the guys sitting in different places with chips and popcorn and drinks in their hands
