Taylor's POV

I woke up to find me and Rose snuggled next to each other in bed.

"Morning sunshine." I said and kissed her nose.

"Morning Taylor she said releasing herself from our cuddling position and moving to her side. I laughed and got out of bed.

8:24
Read the clock.

I walked over to where Rose had rolled over to and bent down to the level of the bed.

"I'm gonna go make breakfast ok? You're welcome to sleep a little longer." I said tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear.

"Okay," she said sleepily and closed her eyes. I stood up and quietly closed the door behind me. I walked downstairs to find Annie sitting on a stool at the Island, coloring in a coloring book I had left out for her, knowing she would wake up early.

"Well good morning Miss Annie!" I said walking over to her. I planted a kiss on her cheek, which made her giggle and jokingly wipe it off. I laughed walking over to the other side of the island where the kitchen was.

"What would you like for breakfast Ann?"

"PANCAKES!!" She screamed.

"Pancakes it is!" I said starting to gather the ingredients. While I made the pancakes, Annie gave a very long speech about why pancakes were her favorite food.

"You can put anything in them!" She argued. I just laughed and continued to make the pancakes. Annie finished her speech when I set a plate of 1 plain, 1 chocolate chip, and 1 strawberry pancakes in front of her. Her eyes lit up and she dug in.

"Do I smell pancakes?" Asked Rose, entering the room. I laughed and set down a plate of pancakes in front of a spot on the island next to Annie. She quickly ran over and started to eat the pancakes. I took a picture of the girl chowing down on their pancakes and sent it to my mom

To Mom💗

Oh! They also LOVE pancakes

After I sent the pic I sat down next to them.

"Taylor?" Perked up a little voice after about 3 minutes of silent pancake eating.

"Yes Annie?"

"What should we call you? Taylor, or Mommy?"

"You can call me whatever you want to call me. You can call me Mommy or Taylor or Momma or Becky," I started to laugh at my own joke

The girls stared at me with confused faces, I forgot they didn't even know what social media was.

"Whose Becky?" Annie questioned, taking another bite of pancake.

"Yeah, is it your middle name?" Asked Rose.

"No my middle names Alison. Becky is this joke- you know what never mind. The point is, you can call me what ever you want."

"Ok, Mommy," said Annie once again digging into her pancakes. My stomach exploded into butterflies. I silently squealed and went back to my pancakes as if nothing had ever happened. Once we finished the pancakes I cleared the dishes and put them in the dish washer.

"So cuties, I was thinking that today we should do some major shopping and also start to get somethings for your rooms."

"Ok!" They answered in unison. We all got ready, and pilled into my car. First, we stopped at Gap kids, and did some serious damage to their stock there. Then we went to the converse store, and I got them super cute converse. Annie got purple ones and Rose got a light blue. Then we went to a different shoe store wear we got rain boots, Toms, Keds, ballet flats, and boots. Annie also got a pair of red sparkly shoes because she wanted "to be like Dorothy." Then we went to North face and got them rain jackets, light jackets and such. Then target, where we got everything you could imagine (games, toys, hair stuff, clothes, stuff for their rooms etc.) Then we went to old navy, then childrens place, then some super cute (and expensive!) boutique children's stores in NYC. Then we went to Pottery Barn Kids and got things for their rooms. We also went and got them car seats, water bottles, bikes and scooters at some super hip NYC store Then finally, we stopped at a paint store to pick out colors for their rooms. Rose chose a sky blue and Annie chose a baby purple. I told them not to go to vibrant, and they took my advice well. Finally, after 8 hours of shopping, we headed home. Both girls fell asleep in the car (in their new carseats!) so of course I snapped a few pics while we were at a red light (ok, maybe like 50 but they're just too cute!) Once we got home the girls went straight to bed (they didn't even want dinner, let alone desert! Well we did have a huge lunch at Shake Shack...) and I prepared myself for a night of cutting tags off and laundry
