-----
Justin saw her eyes open slightly and she uttered a quick i love you too. He locked eyes with her emerald eyes that gave him a semse of warmth on last time before her eyes rolled to the back fo her head. Suddenly the heart rate monitor started to beep out of control and he called a doctor in and him and some nurses started messing around with the stuff connected to Lauren's limp, pale body. He reluctantly exited the room as a nurse ushered him out the door. He was outside her room and started paving back and forth he couldn't lose the love of his life not now. They'd only been married for 12 years he had plans for their 20th, plans for their 30th, plans for their 50th anniversary. Hell he even had plans for their 60th anniversary. The doctor exited the room.
"I'm sorry Mr. Bieber but we lost her!"
Justin's world came crashing down around him. He felt the salty tears rushing down his cheeks as he fell to his knees. His other half was gone, the only woman he would ever love was dead. He stood up and wiped his face as he saw three familiar ladies walking down the hallway all varying in height.
"How is she?" The tallest one asks.
"Camila calm down I'm sure she's fine!" The shorter one said.
"I'm worried about her Ally!" Camila said to the smaller girl. The smallest girl ran into Justin's arms.
"Daddy, daddy is mommy ok?"
He picked up his 6 year old daughter and held her in his arms.
"Sweetie look at me, mommy loved you very much and she always cared for you. You were her favorite person in the whole entire world. She loved you to the moon and back ok?"
"Wheres mommy Daddy!"
"Mommy's dead sweetheart!" Justin said with a gentleness in his tone as he delivered the news to his young daughter. The other two ladies began to cry into each other as Justin cradled his hurt, crying daughter who just lost her mother at only age 6. He could never replace Lauren in her life but he could try to fill her role, and that's what he was going to have to do to raise his daughter. Because Lauren was gone.
The days flew past and the time went by and before he knew it Justin was standing in front of a tombstone that read
Lauren Michelle Jauregui Morgado Bieber
Loving mother, wife, sister, friend, and daughter.
Gone.
Justin knew that once he laid down his rose Lauren was completely and utterly gone. He laid down the rose and walked back to his black Cadillac which took him to the studio the only place he knew how to deal with his feelings. He went right in and started writing and the emotion poured out so he got into the booth immediately.
Yes, I do, I believe
That one day I will be
Where I was right there
Right next to you
He thought back to all of the days spent cuddling with Lauren and pulling her close when she felt sad. He thought about hearing her sobs late at night from the hate she'd get on twitter after leaving the band to start a life with him. He remembered holding her and telling her it was alright. He remembered all the times he carried her to bed, the way she fit perfectly into his arms snuggled into his neck.
And it's hard
The days just seem so dark
The moon and the stars
Are nothing without you
Your touch, your skin
Where do I begin?
No words can explain
The way I'm missing you
He remembered touching her face lovingly and stroking her cheek. He remembered laying in bed stroking her stomach lightly while she caressed his jawline. He remembered her delicate fingers through his hair and shoulders. He remembered her lips that never ceased to make his knees weak whenever they kissed. He remembered the feel of her hair between his fingers and pushing it behind her ears.
Deny this emptiness
This hole that I'm inside
These tears
They tell their own story
Told me not to cry when you were gone
But the feeling's overwhelming, it's much too strong
Can I lay by your side?
Next to you, you
And make sure you're alright
I'll take care of you
I don't want to be here if I can't be with you tonight
He remembered when he first laid eyes on her. Lauren never knew but Justin had his eye on her for a year before they first met. He remembered them meeting. He remembered sharing in the joy of all of fifth harmony ' s accomplishments and all of his own. He remembered punching Luke Hemmings in the face for makimg move on her. He remembered her laughing at him and teasing him. He remembered her yelling at him for being overprotective.
I'm reaching out to you
Can you hear my call?
This hurt that I've been through
I'm missing you, missing you like crazy
He remembered all those sleepless nights while she was on tour or vice versa when he stayed up missing her. He remembered the Skype calls and the text messages. He remembered missing her but never as much as now. He remembered them reuniting in the airports everytime so happy to see each other. The way she would jump on him and he'd spin her around in the air. He remembered the hurt in her eyes when he told her that he cheated on her. He can still feel the sting on his cheek from her slapping him while crying. He remembered them making up and her laying in his arms and him holding her.
You told me not to cry when you were gone
But the feeling's overwhelming, it's much too strong
He remembered their wedding, being surrounded by their friends and family. They cut the cake and danced and celebrated. She looked so happy and he knew he was happy too. He remembered the excitement when they found out they were having a baby and her jumping up and down. He remembered Lauren squeezing the feeling out of his hand in labor as she screamed profanities and not polite sentences at him. He remembered holding their baby girl in their arms together for the first time. He remembered her christening her first birthday, teaching her to ride a bike. He remembered family days out. He remembered fighting and Lauren screaming and crying. He remembered her pain when she found out about her miscarriage trying to have a second kid. He remembered rushing her to the hospital when he saw the bleeding from her stomach. He remembered the press conference ending bieber fever so that he could be with his wife and kid.
Can I lay by your side?
Next to you, you
And make sure you're alright
I'll take care of you
I don't want to be here if I can't be with you tonight
He remembered the I love yous, the I miss yous, the I don't want to live without yous. He remembered the nights of making love and the days of romance. He remembered their first time. He remembered their last day together. He rembered saying goodbye as she walked ou the door to pick up the tux. He remembered him telling her to hurry on the phone.
Lay me down tonight
Lay me by your side
Lay me down tonight
Lay me by your side
He remembered hearing the honk from the truck the interrupted sentence, the scream. He remembered freaking out. He remembered dropping his daughter at her Aunt Ally's house where Camila was staying over. He remembered explaining through tears. He rembered getting to the hospital where she was and seeing her in the stretcher. He remembered her saying this last sentence. "Tell my daughter I love her. Tell the girls I love them. Tell my family love them. Tell Demi and Simon thank you. And lastly tell my brother I don't resent him."
"Baby you'll be fine and you can tell them yourselves." He replied. He rembered her giving him a sad smile before looking down at herself and seeing the non stop blood from the shard of metal impaled in her stomach.
"I love you forever and always!" He said and she started to say something but her eyes closed and they whisked her away.
Can I lay by your side?
Next to you
You
He finished the song and broke down crying. He looked and saw one of his producers who stopped the recording. The only thing justin could think of was one thing Lauren said.
"When you sing, no matter when or where or why, you sing from the heart and you let the emotion flow though your veins whether it's in a car on the way to the movies or at the Grammys, you sing with passion baby! Even when I'm gone you sing Ok?"
To which he replied "Ok!"
And now she was gone.
