Chapter 6 - Tag You're It

(THE CLIMAXXXX. TW IT'S VIOLENT!!!) 

Hannibal and Will came from talking to Jake's wife. Will groaned and rubbed his face as he sat in the passenger seat.

'So, from what I gathered she got knocked up and married Jake. Doesn't seem like she knows much about him,' he muttered as Hannibal began to drive.

'If it is Jake, he'll be keeping Y/N somewhere far from here,' he said. Will nodded and glanced out the window.

'So, I guess we wait to see if Jake comes by here and then follow him from there.'

A few weeks later, while Jake was out one day you heard a knock at the door. You froze and looked up from your book. Why would Jake knock? He never did before. Did someone finally find you? You slowly moved towards the door.

'Who's there?' you asked, knowing the door was bolted shut.

'Uh, my name is Kate? Who are you?' she asked as you paused.

'Do you know Jake?' you asked, pressing your head against the door.

'Yeah, he's my husband. I found this address on some of his bills,' he said as your eyes widened. How did she get here without setting off the mines in the ground? 

'You're his wife... You have to help me! Please!' you screamed as you bashed your hands against the door.

'Are you his side chick or something? Should've known he would cheat on me,' she grumbled in annoyance.

'Around the corner is the back door, I should be able to pry it open. Come around there!' you called out before you grabbed a knife and ran for the back door. You knew Jake would check the cameras at any point. You jammed the door open with the knife to see her standing there looking annoyed.

'So, his side chick is some weird shut in girl?' she asked.

'No! No, he fucking kidnapped me!' you shouted as you went to step outside but stopped yourself.

'Kidnapped you? You're batshit crazy, aren't you?' she said as you glared at her.

'No! I am not crazy! He kidnapped me, I haven't left here in months!' you screamed as she backed away.

'Y/N!' you heard a voice say as you turned to see Jake rushing towards you. He ran forward and grabbed the knife out of your hand before pinning you to the wall as you screamed.

'Jake, wanna tell me who this crazy bitch is?' Kate said as Jake kept you pinned against the wall while you cried.

'She's my cousin, her parents keep her out here because she's too unstable to be in public,' he said clamly.

'He's lying! He's fucking lying!' you screamed through your tears as Jake pinned you harder.

'She's sick, I come out here to keep her company and give her medication,' he said as Kate raised an eyebrow.

'She looks crazy, I'll give you that. Whatever, I don't know what bullshit it going on here but I honestly don't care,' she said before leaving. You sobbed and screamed, trying to break free.

'Come back! Please!' you screamed before you broke free. You grabbed the knife and ran to Kate. You tackled her to the ground and pinned her there. The look in your eyes was pure insanity as you sank the knife into her chest.

'For fuck sakes, Y/N!' Jake shouted as he ran out with a shot gun and loaded it. 'You women make my life fucking hell and wonder why I kill you,' he grumbled as you stared down the barrel of his gun. He fired it as you screamed and got thrown off Kate. Thankfully he had terrible aim and the bullet didn't kill you, just blew apart most of your arm. You screamed and writhed in pain on the floor as he looked at Kate before shooting her in the head. You continued to scream as you tried to back away while bleeding out.

'No, no,' you cried out as Jake stalked forward.

'I had high hopes for you, baby. I'm not going to kill you, don't worry. I'm just going to disfigure you to the point you can't fucking exist without me,' he growled as you sobbed. He smirked and raised his gun again.

'Please don't do this,' you whispered through your tears as he smiled wickedly. You heard a noise and glanced around, Jake narrowed his eyes and looked around.

'Fucking animals,' he growled. Suddenly someone lunged out and grabbed him. You stared in shock as Hannibal plunged a knife into his throat. You trembled in pain and fear as you watched Jake gasp for air and fall to the ground. You cried as you tried to move closer to him.

'I'm sorry,' you whispered as Hannibal rushed forward. He took his coat off and looked at your arm. You looked at him in confusion.

'Hannibal...? Why... How?' you whispered as he wrapped his jacket around your disfigured arm, you screamed in pain as Will rushed over.

'Fucking hell, her arm is barely hanging on,' he whispered. Hannibal gently picked you up as you cried and leaned against him.

'Where? Why are you...' you whispered as Hannibal looked at you sadly.

'It's alright, my dear. Don't question a thing and just stay with me,' he said. Your eyes were slowly glazing over as Hannibal looked at Will.

'We can clear the scene later, no one comes out here anyway,' he said. Will nodded and got into the car as Hannibal helped you into the back and let you lean against him. 'I've slowed the bleeding but she doesn't have long. We need to get her to the closest hospital,' he said, trying his best to stop the bleeding.

'We can't be involved in this Hannibal, we've found her. If we drop her off they'll help her,' Will said. Hannibal looked down at you as you whimpered in pain.

'We can leave her at the hospital. We'll come back in a few days and see her, we can come up with a cover,' he said as Will nodded.

'Good idea.'

Hannibal stopped close to the hospital as Will made a call to 911 and told them about a woman they saw bleeding on the road. Hannibal took his coat off your arm as you looked up at him.

'You'll be okay, my dear. I'll see you soon,' he whispered as he strokes your cheek. You stared at him in pain before falling unconscious. Will and Hannibal made a quick exit and hid not too far away. Hannibal glanced at his watch nervously. The ambulance showed up with a police car behind as he sighed in relief and watched them snap into action.

'Alright, she's safe. Let's go clear the scene.'
