Changed 4 "The Dream"

I spent the entire night thinking about Austin. I couldn't stop thinking about his beautiful green eyes and his perfect blonde hair. I kept thinking about who that girl was and why Austin is so distant about it. I kept thinking about how the day went. I loved talking to him on our way home. He was vulnerable and sensitive, it was nice of him to let me in on his family life. I started imagining things like, what if he was my boyfriend. And how good would that be but, thats just a dream.

Elle started barking downstairs, that only means mom is home. I peeked outside my window and found my mom holding hands with a guy I do not know. They seem really happy with each other, I smiled to myself. It was nice to see my mom finally dating someone. It was a long time since Ive seen my mom this happy.

The guy kissed my mom in the cheeck and I jumped back to my bed texting Teri about what had happened today, an hour hadpassed and she still wasn't responding. What the hell was she doing? I heard my mom climbing up the stairs. I walked gently to my door and peeked at it. My mom was still smiling about her little scene with his date. I snickered, my mom caught me peeking. "Alli, Hi sweetie. Why aren't you in bed yet? It's nine in the evening, you better get some sleep." my mom said to me looking concerned. "I got up, because I was ummm.. hungry." I lied. "Well there's no time for snacking it's too late for that. Now, go back to bed love." she kissed me on the forehead and I gave her a quick hug. I love it when we do that, we don't get to hang out that much, so I truly treasure these little moments.

I went back to my bed still waiting for Teri's reply. I checked my phone, still no messages from her but instead, it was a message from a number I don't recognize. I clicked it open, it read:

Hi it's me Ryan. Save my number K?

Silly little Ryan. How did he get my phone number? I saved his number to my phone and texted him back. "Got your text. Saved it already :)" I was too exhausted to wait for any of their text messages so I threw my phone to my bedside table and pulled my blankets on to sleep. It was so peaceful.

I was running down the park alone. It felt so cold and lonely I had my favorite dress on. It was a pink flowing dress with laces across it. I was waiting for someone. I looked around to check if he was there but nobody seems to be coming. I slumped next to a tree putting my head down.

"Alli?" a male voice said.

I looked up to see the owner of the voice.. To my surprise it was Austin. He pulled me into his arms and I placed my arms around him giving him a tight hug.

"I love you Austin." I said in a hushed tone looking up at his gorgeous green eyes.

"Well, you're lucky cause I do too." said Austin leaning in closer cupping his hands to my face. I closed my eyes and leaned forward.

*End of dream*
