It had officially been a few days since Kameron last seen Sade due to their schedule in differences, but they did manage to text every once in awhile
It was going on 5pm and Kameron was finishing up a workout session with his best friend Maurice, the same person who came over to cook a couple nights ago
The two had a strict schedule of working out together at least twice a week
"Ion know man, you think she'll sign it?"
"How many days has it been now?"
"Going on three days now"
"Just give her some more time she's probably trying to wrap her head around all of this"
"Yeah" Kameron sighed as he began to slow down the treadmill "How's the baby doing?"
An immediate smile flashed across Maurice's face thinking about his baby girl
"She's been doing great, doctor said we can pick her up from the nicu tomorrow. She finally got her weight up"
"I'm happy for you bro"
Majority of Kameron's friends were either in a serious relationship or had families already. Sometimes it felt lonely because all he had was himself but deep down he yearned to have a family and be a father someday
"Do you ever plan on settling down?" Maurice asked
"Doubt it, everybody that I come across always got two things on their mind either they just wanna fuck me or they want money, that shit got old fast"
"Have you ever considered giving up your lifestyle for it?"
"I haven't even considered it because I have yet to find somebody to make me change my mind"

Once Kameron returned from the gym he showered and made his way to the kitchen to attempt to cook something, opening his fridge he was met with a very disappointed reality
His fridge was so empty it might as well have held up a mirror so he could stare at himself
"Fuck" his stomach grumbled
His next plan of action was ordering groceries and waiting until then but he didn't feel like putting them away right now
Just as he began to doze off his phone vibrated waking him up, to his surprise it was Sade calling
"Yoo"
"I'm not interrupting anything am I?"
"Nah why you say that"
"I was just asking because I was on your side of town and I was wondering if I could come see you?"
"I hope you ate already cause I don't got shit to eat over here. My stomach touching the back of this couch"
