The airport was perfectly illuminated, people waiting here and there for their flights. Announcements being reported, staff rushing around, flight schedules displaying on a big screen. And here stood the Developing team waiting for some of their coworkers. It wasn't long until everyone gathered including Gao Tu and Mr.Shen.

The past few days work has been hectic, whole developing team has been swamped with workload preparing for a two-day conference which they had to attend in another city. This project was important for Developing Team and everyone was anticipating for good results. Wenlang as a new appointed director decided to follow the team as they were representing the company.

Gao Tu left this evening with Wenlang, both being dressed very comfortable but kinda matching outfit. Coworkers eyed them, especially Wenlang as usual, seeing him arrive with Gao Tu but nobody would dare question it. Their relationship was private but not secret. Some of the coworkers have already noticed their glances and mischievous smiles at work despite them keeping it professional. But Gao Tu and Wenlang still didn't make it publicly announced.

Gao had a small chat with his co-workers and soon scooted closer to stand with Wenlang. Pulling all nighters didn't make things easier. -"Still feeling sleepy?"- Wenlang asked him softly, looking at his tired eyes. -"Yeah.. I didn't get much sleep last night"- Gao replied rubbing his eyes. -"I'll get you some coffee"- Wenlang said already putting his luggage away to head to cafeteria. Gao quickly caught his hand, softly rubbing his thumb over his palm to reassure him:-"No, it's fine. I'll try to get some sleep during the flight".-

-"You sure?-He still asked, visible concern was shown in his eyes because he knew how much Gao overworked himself for this project. Gao smiled looking away: - "You know that you worry too much right ?"- he said still having Wenlang's warm hand in his. Wenlang grinned :-" Yeah, I do. Especially when my boyfriend looks like he hasn't gotten a wink of sleep in days"- He said gently caressing the faint eye bags under Gao's eyes.

The flight wasn't long, about 1.5 hours and by the time they arrived at the hotel, it was already midnight. The hotel was prebooked by the company, imposing decor and the giant lounge was enough to delight the team. The weather wasn't up to their expectations though. The rainstorm had caused the whole hotel to be packed, leaving almost no rooms available. The Developing team, exhausted from the flight, quickly divided into groups preferring to share rooms.

As most of them left to their rooms wishing goodnight to Wenlang and one another, Gao was the last one remaining. He slowly walked up to the front desk :- "Excuse me, can you give me my room number?"- He asked with his usual polite voice, handing the receptionist his ID card. -"Oh, we're incredibly sorry but there are no rooms available at the moment, they must have made a mistake while giving the customer booking list.."- Gao just stood there, blinking, trying to grasp the information.

Wenlang watched Gao's flustered face standing next to him. -"I guess, you are sharing a room with me"- he said taking Gao Tu's bags, making his way to the elevator. Totally leaving no room for argument. Gao ran up to him, following him now to "their" room. There was no point in arguing with Wenlang, what is more, they could spend some quality time together amidst of their tight schedules. Gao felt his cheeks heating up at the thought.

The room was quite large, dimmed lights and interior set the calming mood. -" This room is ... pretty good"- Gao said looking around, quickly glancing at a single large bed. Wenlang finally turned after putting all their luggage, noticing Gao staring at the bed. He chuckled lightly. -"I'll take the sofa"- he said taking off his jacket. Gao darted his eyes to Wenlang -"You don't... have to, the bed is big enough for the both of us"- Gao Tu said lowering his gaze.

Wenlang walked closer, minimizing the distance between them - "Are you sure? What if we ..."- he said lowering his voice, teasing tone visible. Gao's eyes widened:-"What—" - he muttered. Wenlang laughed lightly -"I mean what if I toss and turn too much, disturbing your sleep?- he said still grinning. -"Wait... You thought—"- he was hurriedly interrupted by blushing Gao. -"No, I didn't think anything.

It was obvious that Wenlang enjoyed watching Gao Tu get flustered by his remarks -"You definitely did think something"- He still didn't give up. Gao was about to defend himself again but seeing the smirk on Wenlang's face made him realize that he was just rage baited. -"Wenlang, enoughhh"- he said with a small smile, couldn't take his teasing anymore.

g -"Okay, okay, I give up "- Wenlang said playfully, raising his hands in defeat. The night went on with them getting ready for bed. Gao dressed in his comfortable clothes, leaving the bathroom he made his way to bed where Wenlang was already scrolling on his phone. He turned off the lights, slowly plopping on the soft mattress. Wenlang's bodywash scent already imprinted on pillows. It was always intoxicating for him, making his heart thump.

Gao slowly turned around to see Wenlang already facing him. - "Can't sleep yet?"- he asked Gao gently. Gao Tu just looked at him with his doe eyes, not saying anything. It didn't take him seconds to swiftly crawl closer to Wenlang and burry his face in his chest, getting comfortable.-"Can I stay like this?"- Gao asked softly. Wenlang chuckled under his breath, wrapping his arms around Gao Tu's body, taking him in his embrace -"I thought you would never ask"-.
