Sakura was walking down the street when she suddenly felt a pair of eyes locked on her. Don't let them catch you, Sakura. She thought before speeding up, her heels clicking against the pavement as the afternoon's wind rushed through her hair.
You know better. Just call 55 or your father. He would come, right? Sakura shook the thought out of her head, wiping her eyes swiftly before quickly taking out her phone to dial her father's number, suddenly tripping.
Before she could even get up, she was out cold without a single touch. You must be wondering what led to this event; well, let me take you back.
* Flashback: Two Hours Ago *
Sakura just got done studying for an upcoming exam in the college campus's media center, when her best friend Karina raced to her cheerfully with a pep in her step. "Sakura," Karina started. "We were invited to a party. Get on your new dress!"
With a hesitant expression, Sakura asked a vital question that many introverts ask: "Do I have to?"
"Yes," Karina instantly said. "You never do anything fun! You have to go, even if you hate the thought of the frat house."
Sakura immediately repeated Karina's words, using a serious tone while raising an eyebrow. "'The thought'? I definitely hate frat houses and frat boys, not just the thought. But fine, I'll go if you stop pestering me."
She started walking off, observing the beautifully clear sky and the cool wind rustling leaves off their branches. She arrived at her dorm room and quickly changed, solely so she wouldn't have to be rushed last-minute by Karina.
The dress was black, down to the middle of her thighs with spaghetti straps; the dress sported a soft silky feeling, thin but sturdy. She then brushed her slightly wavy hair before putting on natural make-up and putting on her black high heels.
Karina picked her up at 16:30, the party having been in full swing for the last twenty minutes. They arrived at the frat house, Karina going right in while Sakura hesitated. One hated socializing, the other engulfed it- no wonder they were best friends.
Sakura walked inside, immediately overwhelmed by the tight space and disgusting smell. Her eyes immediately locked on a dirty-blond-haired boy in a black leather jacket... a frat boy. She began thinking of ways to leave very early, before he would notice her.
It was too late, as his eyes landed on her. He came to her, a sly grin on his face. "I believe we haven't been introduced before, I'm Heeseung. Could I interest you in a drink?"
"A drink? With you? Never." She went to walk past him, uncomfortable as her body was pressed between many others, her hand accidentally brushing against his wrist. It was cold... beyond cold.
With a gasp, she pulled away, the sound not being heard by anyone due to the volume of the music coming out of the speakers. "Wait, please. Join me for a drink."
"Fine," She sighed, frozen with her back to him. "Since it seems like you will not leave me until you get me buzzed." She went with him to the kitchen; Heeseung poured both of them a shot before handing one of the two glasses to her.
"A shot of whiskey? That's a very strong drink." She muttered, eyes locked on the glass, never having drunk anything alcoholic besides wine. She instantly downed the shot.
"Of course," Heeseung responded, a flick of red in his brown, piercing eyes. "It was supposed to be." She immediately was under the influence of the drink, slurring slightly as she told him, "I'll be back. I have to go find my friend."
She went back into the sea of party-goers, trying to find Karina. She got a tap on her shoulder, looking to find that it was Riki, the youngest of this frat house.
"Looking for Karina?" He asked and she nodded, Riki continuing. "She took off a minute ago with a guy. She was wasted." She then slurred and told him she would be back, then proceeded to leave the party. Her eyes got gluey from the wind that suddenly attacked.
