RIBBITRABBIT (jax x ribbit tadc)

dreams and nightmares

Just as Jax was turning around, ribbit suddenly appeared with a bucket of water and dunked it on Jax's head

"HEY-YOU TRADOR!" Jax said, half mad, half sarcastic, and overacting,

"ehe." Ribbit said, "I know you aren't going in because you don't like your fur wet, so I did it for you, now you have no excuse not to come!" Ribbit exclaimed proudly, like he had just solved world hunger, cute, wait what...?! Oh.  No, this is not good

"Well, now I'm staying here to annoy you!" I stuck my tongue out at him,

"What!?!?!?!?" he asked,

"ya!" I said, I have a feeling I sounded like a toddler on a mission

"Well then!" he said,

"I will carry you to the water!" he declared

"WHAT?!" I said "PHTT-- no way you're strong enough- HOLY COWS"

Rabbit had picked Jax up in one swift move, bridal style

"Damn. I forgot you were this strong, it's like when you carried me in the.. THE PRINCES AND THE FROG ADVENTURE"

the memories came back to jax this wasn't real this was a a dream queenie had abstracted before he even arrived at the circus and and- in the princess and the frog adventure queenie was dead and-and pomni was here ribbit wasn't

jax was now struggling to get out of ribbits grasp ribbit didn't seem to understand what was happening then the scene shifted instead of being in ribbits arms on a sunny beach he and ribbit where laughing on the floor of a freezing lake turned ice rink jax had slipped and fell then ribbit tripped over him- this wasn't a dream this one was a memory

"BAHAHA!" ribbit exclaimed

"THAT WAS SO FUNNY IT WASN'T EVEN A PRANK BUT IT WAS SO FUNNY!" Jax looked down to ribbit, then realized the position they were both in. Jax was sitting on the ice rink floor. Ribbit had fallen face-first into the ice right in front of him, and Ribbit's head was on one of Jax's knees, and Ribbit was staring at him with the most innocent of smiles ever, and as if he were the most prized diamond in the world.

Jax stopped laughing for a sec, and Ribbit realized he had been caught

"Um.. we should get up from the icee, it's cold, I might go into hibernation cuz-cuz frogs do that right!? Frogs hibernating right!?- Haha?"

Jax wanted him to stay like that, so he took off his jacket and covered Ribbit with it

ribbit let outa small breathy gasp

"uh- what?"

"So you're not cold, I have fur, so I was overheating with it on anyway."

"But-but I already have a jacket," he said

"But you're clearly still cold," I said, pulling him closer slightly

He sat up so his head went into my chest 

At this point, ribbit was basically in my lap. I had wrapped my legs around him,  crisscrossed apple sauce style. I remember wishing this would last forever- oh, right, this is a dream flashback .... I saw the world swimming around me and figured that this was gonna be a new dream.

I was running during the intermission, but something was different. And it felt wrong, like death suddenly the floor swallowed me whole with a loud, disturbing creek, and I fell into.... WHAT!?

~~RIBBITS CURRENT POV (he is also asleep)

I was sitting at my desk. In my dream, I knew it was a dream because I had just seen a unicorn, and I was now lucid dreaming. I waited for the next weird dream thing to come, when suddenly:

THUMP

something on the floor behind me, I turned around

"Oh great, jax damn, I really am dreaming"

"ow" Jax got up

"- Who-who are you!?" he jumped up into a fighting stance

. "Wait, are you real? ow"

"Of course I'm real of you, where the real you would recognize me as ribbit"

~~jax pov (he and ribbit are in a shared dream rn, if you didn't understand what was happening)

"What.."

I looked at this supposed ribbit; they were in the real world, that's for sure. I was in this dream, but I was still in my avatar

the guy claiming to be ribbit had black hair ribbit told me he had black hair in real life he was short and looked a korean as he had a small birth mark that looked like a small flower on the right side of his forehead he was just the slighted bit tan enough so that in the light of the lamp that was on the desk he could see it he had dark green eyes that seemed to change color the longer jax stared at him he had his hair in a man bun but his hair was barely long enough to do so so it was more of a ponytail with hairs sticking out everywhere and barely any in the rubber band his hair was curly he could see that from the strand of hair that had just broken out of the bun-

"Wait.." Jax said remembering

"This is a dream ribbit abstracted." The guy claiming to be ribbit scoffed

"I did not expect a character of my dream to figure that out," he said

"w- YOU'RE THE FIGURE OF MY DREAM AND I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THESE FAULTY DREAMS OF ME AND RIBBIT," I snapped

The supposed ribbit looked kinda shocked and opened his mouth, but before he could, the ground opened up, and then I woke up

I woke up after that, the dream version of Jax had said.... wait..what if

No joint dreams aren't real, are they? Are they!?

No-no, they can't be, that's impossible-

Then again, being trapped inside a digital circus for 5 years is impossible, and that 100% happened.

Whatever just gives me more motivation for the break-in hacking thingy we have to do to get them back

I'm coming, Jax, not just for you but for me

because I was dumb

I was... in-

Oh gods, oh no

not good

This is gonna interfere with the plan, oh no

I was in love with Jax, and I still am!

Oh gods, Ragatha was right

Whatever, I'm definitely not getting any sleep now after that, ima work more on the plan

and probably have a panic attack
