How did I end up like this?

Date night

Lauren's pov

I was so deep thinking about Kevin. I wanted to call him, and ask if he'd like to go out on a date tonight. But I just met him today and I didn't want to sound desperate.

Mom: Girls. What about going upstairs and get your rooms ready.
Lauren: Sure. Why not.

Dani went upstairs right away.
I was about to walk upstairs when mom grabbed my arm. She had the serious look going on.

Mom: Lauren. Sweetie. What's going on about this Kevin.

At first I got frightened. But mom understands every problem of mine and she always has a solution. So I told her everything. About Peter and what happened before we left, about how I can't stop thinking about him and the text he sent me, and how I met Kevin and how I can't stop thinking about him either.

Mom: Since we don't live in California anymore I guess you have to forget him. Or else you'll be stuck thinking about him and won't be able to get him. That hurts. So I guess you can have interests in another boy, and you'll forget about Peter. I know it sucks but this is the better way sweetheart.
Lauren: Yeah. I guess so.

I went upstairs and started decorating as much as I could with the things I had.

Dani had finished and she helped me. We printed pictures from Tumblr and put on my wall.

Mom: Girls. It's dinner.

We went downstairs and mom had made burgers. Mom made the best burgers! Better than at McDonalds.

We helped mom to clean up after dinner and then we went upstairs.

Dani: You wanna do something?
Lauren: Oh yeah like what? It's too late to go to the movies or buy ice cream.
Dani: Yeah but you know what. Target is 5 minutes away. Wanna go there and buy crap food and watch Netflix?
Lauren: Oh I like that idea! Haha. Let's go.

We bought ice cream, candy, chips, soda and a cake mix. Dani said she really wanted to make a cake in the morning so why not?

We went back home and made everything comfy in Dani's room. We actually built a fort... Yeah awkward but it was so cosy being covered in blankets and pillows. We were not agreeing of what film to watch. But Dani was so determined on watching Pitch Perfect, I had to let go of Mean Girls. After all, we've watched that movie million times.

Pitch Perfect was actually so good! We were very proud of our fort, so we decided to sleep in it. It was so good being there with my best friend who has stood up for me whenever I'm down. I love her more than anything in the whole wide world!

It was kinda late and we had been sharing secrets that evening so we kind of fell asleep at 2 am. We had gone to bed late last nights and that needed to change.

Friday

Dani's pov

Nothing really happend yesterday. We went to the public swimming pool and spent the day there.

But today we had a meeting with our sisters.

Me and Lauren walked to their house, after lunch.

We talked about upcoming shows, new music, and covers.

Christina and Lisa really wanted to do a new One Direction song but the rest of us didn't agree. It would be wrong to do it after Zayn left. Then it's not One Direction.

We agreed on, that another meeting would be later.

Me and Lauren walked back home around 4 pm.
When we got home, all our furnitures had arrived. So we started styling up our rooms.

Lauren's pov

In the middle of trying to put my vanity together, my new phone rang.

Lauren: Hello.
Kevin: Hi Lauren.
Lauren: Kevin?
Kevin: Umm yeah. Hi. I was wondering, would you like to go out tonight?
Lauren: Ummm what? Go out? Tonight? Uuummm sure...
Kevin: All right. I'll pick you up at eight.
Lauren: Cool. Do you know where I live?
Kevin: I'll figure it out. See you.

Then he hung up.
I ran into Dani's room.

Lauren: Dani. Dani!!! Kevin asked me out!!!
Dani: What. Where are you guys going.
Lauren: I don't know. All he said was he was gonna pick me up at eight.
Dani: That's amazing!
Lauren: Yeah. Although I don't know what to wear!
Dani: Lauren. You are so smart at figuring out an outfit. It won't be a problem.
Lauren: Yeah, you're right.

Mom(shouting from downstairs): Kids, dinner.
All five of us ran downstairs. I told mom I was not gonna eat.
Mom: What have you seen online about eating disorders?
Lauren: No mom! Nothing like that. I'm going out tonight.
Mom: Oh you met some friends?!
Lauren: Kind of. I'm going out with Kevin.
Mom: Oh great.

I went upstairs to get myself ready.

When I got in my room I realized, I don't have any clothes! Why didn't I go shopping today?!

Everything was upside down in my room because of me trying to put my furnitures together. Didn't go as I thought it would.

At 7:30 pm I finally got an outfit. But I wasn't ready. I still had to put on makeup, do my hair and borrow a perfume from mom. And my phone was dying to I had to plug it in. Hope 30 minutes will work.

I went with an easy makeup look, that didn't look like I had to much makeup on, and because I didn't have time. The time was 7:50 and I had to do my hair badly! I also had to wash it. Ain't nobody got time for that! So I put it in a cute top knot. It didn't look like I just stepped out of bed, it was just simple. Now, I need perfume!!!

I hear someone downstairs when I'm spraying the perfume. I hear Dani talking to someone.

Dani's pov

I opened the door and see that Kevin's here. I welcomed him and told him to get inside to meet mom. I hope Lauren doesn't get mad at me.

I walk him to the kitchen and I see the happy look on mom's face.

Dani: Mom. This is Kevin. Actually, it's not really mine to introduce him. Lauren should do it.

The second I say that, Lauren arrives. She gives me an angry eye.

Lauren: Yeah you're right. It's not your part.
Kevin: Well, I'm glad that I finally get to step in the Cimorelli household. Y'all look so nice! Where's your dad?
Lauren: He lives in California. He has a business there and he didn't wanna move because of it so yeah.
Kevin: Where is the rest of your siblings?
Lauren: Christina, Katherine, Lisa and Amy don't live with us. They live in another house, down the street.

Lauren was blushing over this talk. I saw that she wanted to get out.

Lauren's pov

I've had enough. I want to go now. I'm actually starving.

Lauren: Kevin. Let's go. I'm hungry.
Kevin: Well that's good because I'm taking you to an Italian restaurant. I heard you liked pasta and pizza.
Lauren: I do. Come on.

Dani had a smirk on her face that I really wanted to wipe off!

We walked outside and I saw a beautiful convertible. It was silver.
Kevin opened the door for me and I got into the car.
