"Turn around... look at what you see, in her face, the mirror of your dreams."

I thought my brain had finally snapped.

I blinked, slowly turning toward Will, who was staring at the radio in pure disbelief. His mouth fell open slightly.

"He's singing," I whispered, horrified.

Steve just stared forward, hands gripping the seat so tightly the leather creaked. "We're being chased by a giant flesh monster, and he's doing karaoke."

Lucas turned, wide-eyed, his voice breaking. "Suzie's real?"

"Apparently," Will muttered under his breath.

They kept going.

"Make believe I'm everywhere, given in the light, written on the pages is, the answer to our never-ending story!"

They harmonised. Like, perfectly.

I leaned up a little, squinting at the radio like it had just personally betrayed me. "Am I delirious, or is this actually happening right now?"

Will didn't even blink. "No, this is real." He rubbed my shoulder gently. "You're fine. The world is insane."

Jonathan groaned, knuckles white on the wheel. "You have got to be kidding me—"

The monster's roar thundered again behind us, shaking the road.

"Reach the stars, fly a fantasyyyy," Suzie sang along with Dustin, her voice weirdly beautiful and totally out of place in a moment like this.

"Dream a dream, and what you see will beeee—"

The sound of their harmonising echoed through the supercom, through the entire car. For a second, I forgot how to process emotions entirely. Will's expression mirrored mine—caught somewhere between is this really happening and of course this is Dustin Henderson.

Lucas looked like he was watching an alien broadcast. "They're actually—singing."

"They're actually harmonizing," Nancy said, horrified.

Even Jonathan cracked a tiny, disbelieving laugh. "Unbelievable."

I could feel Will shaking slightly beside me—not from fear this time, but silent laughter breaking through the panic. The corners of his mouth twitched. "He sounds good," he said quietly.

I snorted weakly. "Don't say that, you'll encourage him."

Steve ran a hand down his face, muttering something about needing a new family. Robin leaned forward, torn between terror and absolute awe.

"Rhymes that keep their secrets will, unfold behind the clouds, and there upon a rainbow is, the answer to our never-ending storyyyyyy a-a-a-a-aaaaa, story! A-a-a-a-aaaaa..."

They hit the last note in perfect harmony.

Silence followed. The kind of silence that only happens after something profoundly ridiculous.

We all sat there, motionless, as the car sped through the dark. Even the Mind Flayer's distant howls felt... smaller, somehow, compared to whatever that just was.

Then the radio crackled again.

"Planck's constant is 6.62607004," Suzie's voice blared.

Jonathan barked a laugh that sounded more like a breakdown. "Oh my god, I can't believe this is what's saving the world."

"Never doubted him," Will said softly, smiling faintly.

Lucas blinked hard, still staring at the radio. "Suzie's real," he whispered, dazed.
