Part 4: Not as dangerous

Log 4: By Gerald Robotnik 

"Entry Log 4, Maria accomplished something today that I never thought she would do. Without Shadow's protection, she entered the locked room with S inside. I am too shocked to explain so here the video."

Gerald puts on video of one half being the security camera of the secured room with S while the other is a security camera of the room with the one-way glass. Maria was standing in the containment room with S.

S could've killed Maria and soon Gerald arrived with all the other scientists and guards, S merely gave Maria a perplexed look.

Gerlad thought S was going to hurt his beloved granddaughter when S approached her hesitantly and while S was walking closer to Maria, she somehow managed to make the chains slip off like they weren't even on her.

Maria jumped but she carefully held out a sketch book and a few pencils with rubbers. However, S simply looked down at the art equipment delicately and gazed down at them with shocked eyes.

"Instead of sitting here all day doing nothing, so I figured you might want something to do and I want to give you these." Maria says in a kind way but with a slight scared tone. 

S looked at Maria, and she hesitatingly took the art supplies and book. All of the adults' eyes have enlarged even Shadow is astonished at how kind she is to Maria.

"You're different?" S said as she looked up at Maria with a somewhat sad look. Maria explained how she couldn't live on Earth because of her condition.

S thought for a moment before she looked up at Maria with wide eyes and she grabbed onto her and that's when Maria nearly fell over and nearly passed out but when S grabbed her.

That's when the half of the guards all rushed and grabbed Maria and pulled her out of there while the other half pushed S back towards the chains.

But S tried to hold back but still got placed in the chains on her wrist while she looked down at the art supplies.

Video ends. Gerlad just sits in silence for a few seconds.

"I would've never thought that Maria would've ever been able to let S's soft side come out, but if S can at least be this kind or a bit calmer towards everyone else for the next few days."

"She might be able to give us the information that we need and might be able to live within the ARK like everyone else."
