Y/n's pov
After that you have told your name, you noticed some students either smiling at you, staring at you or muttering things to each other. Deku made a small hand wave at you. You wanted to wave back but not in front of the whole class so you just stared at him and then turned your attention to the teacher that was talking to you.
"You can sit right there, (y/n). Next to problem child," Aizawa bluntly told you while sitting on his chair.
"Who's problem child?" You asked, genuinely concerned about how he is talking about. On the corner of your eyes, you can see Izuku avoiding any kind of eye contact. Is he problem child?
"This is problem child," he pointed to Midoriya. "And this is problem child 0.2," he pointed Bakugo this time. "You can sit next to Midoriya, if you want me to call him by his name." He answered your question.
You glanced both at Izuku and Katsuki, really curious about what they have done to be called this way. Ok, Bakugo, I guess we can see why but Izuku? What?
You nodded and you walked to your new seat, next to your childhood friend. He smiled at you and you made a small hand wave to him. He looked at you and looked like he was hesitating to talk but he eventually did, "uh.. hi! (Y/n).." he saluted you, a shy smile drawing on his face.
You smiled back but not because you somehow got the tanjiro effect. More like because you wanted to be polite and not make things awkward for the one you'll sit next to for a long time. When you smiled back, you saw his face lightened a little bit. You both turned back your attention to Aizawa who was already talking.
"I'm convinced that most of you are curious on why isn't (Y/n) in prison by now," he started, scratching the back of his neck. "Well, there are multiple reasons for this situation. For example, she didn't cause anyone to get to the hospital, she didn't kill anyone, nor did she steal anything...yet."
"The second reason is that...," he suddenly stopped. "Wait, before anything I have a question for you.. for the class," he looked at them with a serious look. You can sense some of them looking at you, others communicating to their friends with eye contact.
"When you were young, probably in your 4 years or 5, did one of your parents told you not to go outside too late? For example "don't go outside past 6 pm" or something like this?" He asked calmly, waiting for their hands to be raised. And from your view...

He explained, not quite responding to her question. But it is clear that some of them understood what he meant by that. How would you know?
