AKSHAT SINGHANIA - A literature professor in Singania Institute of Arts and Commerce. He is soft and caring person
with a tough exterior, who doesn't believe in love or marriage because of his parent's broken relationship and his ex wife's betrayal...
Bulbul had barely let her little shoes slip off before she darted toward her bedroom, announcing in her sweet, sleepy tone that she needed a nap after the long PTM. Her tiny feet pattered across the floor and soon the sound faded behind the closed door. The house instantly quieted, leaving only the faint hum of the ceiling fan and the soft rustle of Kavya's saree as she stepped inside the living room. She was about to follow her daughter when a sudden tug stopped her midway.
Krishiv's hand slipped firmly yet gently around her waist, pulling her against him before she could even process what was happening. Her eyes widened in surprise, her breath caught, and she looked up at him with that puzzled softness she always carried.
"Kya hua?" she asked, her voice carrying both confusion and an almost instinctive shyness.
Krishiv leaned down slightly, his lips brushing close to her ear, his smile mischievous. "Pyar... bahot sara," he whispered, his tone dripping with playful affection.
Heat instantly colored her cheeks. She laughed nervously, trying to mask the sudden rush of butterflies in her stomach, and gave him a light smack on his chest. "I didn't know you could be a romantic person... pehle toh hints bhi nahi samjh paate the," she teased, her fingers unconsciously finding the buttons of his shirt and fiddling with them as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
His dark eyes softened, a rare mix of guilt and admiration glimmering in them. "Aapke pyar ne badal diya na... and I was so stupid to not to fall for you earlier." His voice cracked with sincerity even as he tried to keep it casual. He cupped her face gently, his thumb grazing her cheekbone. "I mean... koi aapse pyar kaise nahi kar sakta hai? How dumb I must have been."
Kavya's lips curved into a tender smile, her heart swelling at his confession. She tilted her head slightly into his palm, her eyes glistening with the kind of love that didn't need grand declarations to prove itself. "Even when you didn't love me," she said softly, her tone laced with gratitude, "you taught me how to love."
His grip around her waist didn't loosen, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
"Accha, wo sab chhoriye... jaldi se kiss kariye," he demanded with a boyish grin, tilting his head slightly toward her lips.
Kavya gasped, her cheeks flooding with crimson, and she immediately tried to push him away lightly. "Fresh ho jaiye pehle," she replied, trying to sound stern, though the tremor in her voice betrayed her shyness.
Krishiv chuckled, his tone playful yet thick with desire. "Nahi... I am very tired, Bulbul ki mummy. I need my recharge." He leaned even closer, his breath tickling her skin as his voice dropped to a husky whisper. "Jaldi kariye... com'on."
