The sun was out and the busy day seemed louder than before.
Loud.
And All over the places, everyone minding with their own business.
And they all dropped like flies like no other.
I stood in front, watching the bloody slaughter. I pant, taking shaky breaths as I take in the scenery.
Woah.
Bodies were stacked up on each other.
Not even the might of the people with powers could beat the man with a hooded cloak.
It was almost ridiculous if not half of my clothes were stained from the blood of all these people trying to either save the civilians first or defeated the villian. As I dubbed.
The man grinned, taking out the heroes that tried to protect this city with every of their life like nothing.
Obviously.
They were no match for him.
They all fell, each with a divine fate that still smelled of death.
“Oh, I didn't know I had one last audience?“
The man spoked. Turning around to face me, holding out what seemed like a spark in between their hands.
I couldn't move.
But unconsciously, my body took a step back then stopped.
“Did you enjoy?“
He asked.
I didn't dare say anything.
“Hm, you don't need to say.“ He chuckled and gestured over to me.
“I could tell you did. You're smiling like crazy, it's all over the place.
I could read your mind right now.
They all deserve to die.
Right?”
A pause.
He titled his head, smirking as he looked at me, seemingly curious. “Have you ever noticed your expression, at all?”
His gaze piercing through him. Such a cold look, that serves to only observe and calculate.
I'll probably not be wrong that I'm just an ant like the rest of them in his eyes.
How scary.
I seem to froze for a bit.
Ah.
Was I smiling for too long?
I didn't even notice.
“You know. I think. We'll see each other a lot more.“
He took a step closer, and walked towards me.
He walked so casually as if he didn't murdered hundred and hundreds of people.
“I..“
I blurted out without thinking and he stopped.
“What?“
He says.
But I didn't dare open my mouth again and ran towards him.
That got him to get into a stance, before blinking in confusion when I just ran past him instead. Did he really think I could really do anything to him?
“What are you!“
He says.
But I already reached for the sparkling star that shined so brightly.
