Anthony Pexus was a brilliant government scientist with a loving wive and son, but a questionable morality, only showing love for his family. His life would soon change forever when the U.S. Government recruited him based on his studies on nuclear warfare, tasking him with making a weapon capable of killing Alex Yanez if needed. After 10 years of research, Anthony discovered a type of inter-dimensional radiation that wasn't a particle or wave, only much more powerful and deadly. He named this new form of radiation TITAN and immediately experimented on it.
When testing the TITAN canon that Pexus himself designed to destroy Alex, something went horribly wrong. Banner went and activated the canon to fire at a distant target, but the canon couldn't contain the energy and Pexus took the brunt of it all. Against all odds, he survived the explosion, but his DNA became forever altered from the TITAN radiation, and awakened something inside of him: all the emotion he suppressed within himself since he was a child.
Now, whenever Pexus loses control of himself, his feelings manifests into the form of a towering, kaiju that threatens all around him, known to many as "The Apex". After being neutralized, the U.S Government dubbed Apex as their ultimate weapon against Alex. The Apex's personality underwent significant changes as a result of Banner's unhealthy lifestyle. His pursuit of calm and isolation in a world that would not leave him alone was constant for him, whether he was savage or intelligent at any given time. While Pecus still tries to find balance between himself and his alter-ego, both still remain unafraid to smash anything that threatens them or those they care about.

Pexus can discern the subject matter which includes mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms. -Leadership: Pexus often takes charge and guides Apex when in a fight, much to his alter egos annoyance. -Self-Restraint: Pexus has the voluntary control of his own emotions, impulses, desires, and actions, often in difficult situations, allowing him to achieve goals and avoid harmful behaviors. -Multilingualism: While fluent in his native English, he can speak Russian and Austro-Bavarian.
