Every word here is what you left when you walked out. When you lied. When you acted like it wasn't on you. I wrote it down because holding it in was killing me.
If you ever read this, understand one thing: who pushes someone to dig into their own attachment style, knows it's abandonment, and then uses it over and over to break them? You did. You hurt me. You broke something in me I can't get back.
You can say it didn't happen. You can run back to your old life. You can tell yourself whatever story makes you feel clean. But none of that changes the truth.
These pages aren't forgiveness. They aren't closure. They aren't healing tied up in a bow. They are the wreckage. The nights I couldn't breathe. The silence that cut deeper than anything you ever said. The ache that wouldn't stop until I put it into words.
So if you're flipping through this, know what you're holding. Every poem has your fingerprints on it. Every line is the damage you left behind.
I survived by writing this. That survival is mine. You don't get to touch it.
Every poem is proof.
Every poem is your fault.
