Chapter 17

Viewer's pov:

Bhaiya! Bhaiyaaa!

The scene unfolded Infront of me, it was night time probably midnight, with a soft thunder sound followed by heavy rain that's when I noticed young Agastya slamming at a door. Yelling his brother's name, who was currently locked up in the basement.

Agastya, I'm fine

No you are not, you haven't eaten since morning.., you were unwell and now you are locked up, bhaiya open the door!

Agastya mene bola na me thik hun? Tum bekar me chinta kr rhe ho

Lekin bhaiya?

Shhh.. Me thik hun jao apne room me, Raat bhut ho chuki h so jao Naks replied

Agastya's pov :

I had no other option than obeying bhaiya, even if I tried to push the further boundaries and try to remove him from the basement its no use, he's locked up and I need to find those keys.. But I am not allowed to enter the parent room. Why do they discriminate among me and bhaiya.. He's always treated like an unwanted child.

That night I tried to help him, I tried everything I could but failed miserably left with no other option than sleeping. It was getting too dark,my heart was racing in the dark as bhaiya wasn't by my side..

Agastya's past :

Agastya was the only son in the family who was seen as a family member, his brother Naks was the hated one, after Agastya was born.

His father had two marriages and with those two marriage he got two son Agastya and Naks.

Naks was the first son from the first wife, his skin was pale since birth due to  blood issues, he had a deep cut mark on his neck done by his father. cause during the birth,  his mother didn't made it during birth making Naks's father hate him. He was against having a child at the first place knowing that she won't be able to tolerate that pain due to her weak body.

The name Naks was never planned for him, you see when he was born

Naks father, who was a Marathi man thought of his name to be Nakusa which means unwanted (female name).

Because the women in the village claimed for it to be a girl through the sighs she showed during the pregnancy.

But he couldn't just name him that, as it doesn't work for his gender so he changes some words of it and named him Naks. (Naks means somthing else but for him it was a short form of unwanted)

When Naks was born, the family loved him his father, provided fake love tho.. And after a year decided to have a second marriage.

After the second marriage within 3 months the second wife was pregnant and, Agastya was born making him two years younger than Naks.
