Sunlight shimmered down on the sidewalk, bathing you in warmth. Just bordering on uncomfortable without quite crossing that line, it was a perfectly cromulent summer day. Pink petals floated down from the trees above, dancing along the breeze that carried them. And with the music playing through your headphones, the upbeat tunes just helped to fulfill the promise of a wonderful summer day.

You were in such a good mood that seeing your friend text you to interrupt your stride didn't even annoy you. Your friend knew that you liked live performances, especially since music tended to be better when performed live.

"A public performance of some boy band...?" You murmured to yourself, trying to process the information that your friend had given you. There was no way that that was what it said.

But, sure enough, you found yourself heading out to a nearby shopping center. After all, you had nothing better to do today. Plus, what if it was fun?

A large group of people were all surrounding five boys, all with colorful hair except one. In casual, brightly colored outfits, they sang with the talent and coordination of a trained K-Pop group.

Surprisingly, the crowd surrounding them were keeping a respectful distance. Not even a stalker yet.

You turned to the person standing next to you, their shoulders shimmying with the beat. "Hey, who are these guys?"

"I don't even know!" the person responded, their gaze never breaking from the boys. "I've never heard of them before. I think they're new."

These boys had chosen a public performance for their debut? Either they were incredibly generous to the public, or they were trying to make an event out of their debut. Whichever it was, it was a risky move that you couldn't help but admire.

But you came to realize why everyone was keeping a respectful distance. As an older woman was suddenly overcome by her joy and rushed forward to talk to the boys, the leader puffed out his chest and physically rebuffed her back into the crowd. It was as if he was controlling the air.

The sudden breeze knocked back a decent portion of the crowd, and you saw it coming right towards yourself. Before worrying about how he did that, you had to worry about not falling!

You felt a disruption to your stance. A force collided with you, your nose feeling a sharp pain. Your feet lost their grasp of the ground, and gravity started pulling you backwards. You felt it, the way the ground approached. It was as if you could feel the concrete before it actually hit. The way you would slam down and how badly it would hurt. What a terrible material to land on.

But your hand was suddenly taken in a much larger one, halting you right in your tracks. All of a sudden, you were looking at a
The sun seemed to shine behind his head, forming a perfect halo. What a blessing it was, to be caught in his shadows. And with that face, he might as well have been holy. How the high cheekbones worked in perfect harmony with his sharp eyes, he looked far too good to be true.

And that voice... So deep, deeper than the very caverns of your heart. You would have gotten lost in it until you realized that you actually had to listen to what he was saying. He seemed to be talking to you.

"What?" You asked, completely clueless.

"I asked if you were okay," he repeated.

"I'm okay. You just... It was just your friend. Kinda stunned me," you explained, perhaps too quickly.

"Yeah, we tend to do that." Another cool breeze went by, perfectly lifting the shirt that was much too small for him to reveal the briefest glimpse of his abs. And you would have had to have been blind not to see them. They glistened in the light, every bump highlighted. But your attention was broken from the abs as he slipped something into your hand. "Remember, if anyone asks, your ultimate bias is Abby."

You gave a small nod, not wanting to argue with him. "Is that you?"

"Guess."

He slid right back into the choreography again, as if he had never left. Perfectly synchronized with everyone else, without so much as a blink of an eye. You looked down at the sticker in your hand, a logo for the boy band printed on. 'Saja Boys'.

The way the Saja Boys took control of the crowd was incredibly impressive. Their coordination in their dancing, their song with its' catchy beat... They even took a few seconds to interact with the fans while performing. The world felt a bit brighter when the Saja Boys performed.

"You're my soda pop, my little soda pop..."

They ended off with poses, to which the leader stepped forward with a smile.

"That's it for now! But be sure to join us tonight on everyone's favorite variety show," he said as the screen behind him revealed the logo of 'Play Games With Us'. It was almost as if he had planned it.

How did these boys already manage an appearance on 'Play Games With Us'? Most bands had to wait a few months at the least before they could even think about variety shows, let alone on the same day of their debut. What label must have been backing the Saja Boys enough that they thought a public performance was the best debut? And how did they manage to conceal the Saja Boys' existence so that no one was expecting this?

"The Saja Boys love you!"

Abby had his arm draped on one of his bandmates' shoulders, a smile on his face as he waved at a group of squealing girls. But he noticed you in the crowd, and he blew you a kiss.

You couldn't help yourself. You reached out, grabbing the kiss and holding it to your heart.

And Abby just smirked in approval.

You didn't know much about this, but what you knew was that Abby Saja now had your heart.
