Anaya's POV:

I'm at home chillin' with Solange in her bedroom while she paints her nails, sitting in front of her vanity. I told her about Nathan being back in town, which was a mistake because this girl would not shut up about me having a thing for him. Which I don't. Nate and I will forever just be friends. Nothing more.

"I'm just sayin'. The redness on your cheeks when you started talking about him said otherwise," my best friend and roommate teases.

I roll my eyes. "Whatever, Solange. Like I told you, I don't like Nathan like that. I always seen him as a brotherly type. That is it."

"Mm. If you say so...." she says, blowing on her nails to dry them.

Besides, knowing how strict his parents always been I'm not so sure if they would approve of their son dating someone outside of his race. How would I know that? His parents once hooked him up with some Korean chic who attended an all girl prep school at the time Nate and I were high school seniors. Being obedient, Nate actually agreed to go out with her. Their relationship lasted until she was caught one night by her parents at some frat house party, drinking and giving some black dude a lap dance. They ended up sending her off to South Korea to live with her grandparents and Nate hasn't spoken to her since. Truthfully, I don't think he was ever heartbroken with the way their relationship ended. He didn't seem much interested in her anyway.

"So when am I gonna get the chance to meet this Nate guy of yours?" Solange ask. I shrug my shoulders. "I don't know. I guess whenever he's not too busy with work." I watch a lot of case solving shows and from what I be seeing I can tell these detectives and cops spends a lot of time away from their family and friends due to their jobs so it's probably like that in real life too.

"What'chu afraid I'ma try to come onto your man or something?" she tease. "For the last time, Solange, I don't like Nate like that," I reply, annoyed. "Whatever," she mumbles, installing a pair of hoop earrings into her ears. "Why not invite him down to the club one of these nights. He's a cop. I'm sure he's gonna need something to relieve his stress after long days of work."

"He's not the type to step foot in a strip club. Unless he have to," I tell her. Nate is a very respectable man, especially when it comes to women. He's not the type to treat women like some sort of sex objects or sexual entertainment. "Lame," I hear Solange say under her breath as she stares at her reflection in the mirror, fixing her hair extension.

She stands up and walk over to the bed to grab her purse. "Welp, don't wait up for me."

"Where the heck you goin' at this time of night?" I ask, eyeing the sexy red dress she has on. "Well if you must know, mother.... I got a hot date tonight," she smiles. I'm not even going to ask who with because most likely, it's some dude she met at the club and will never see again after the date. That's usually how it goes with this girl.

"Catch you in the morning," she says, leaving her room. I hear the door to the apartment slam shut. I sigh, getting up off of her bed and decide to head into the living room to watch some Netflix with a bowl of popcorn and a can of soda.

(Later that night)

Third Person's POV:

Earlier today, the Samcro crew received a tip that Anthony Harris has been living with his girlfriend whom he met at a local bar for quite some time now. After finding out where she live the crew plotted to catch him over there. Unfortunately, their plan was successful.

"Tell us where he is and we'll leave," the president of Samcro, Jax Teller tells a young black woman, tied to a dining room chair.

"I told you. I don't know where he is," she cries. "I haven't heard from him in three days. He never told me where he was going before he left."

"You expect us to believe that, bitch?!" Clay grills the fearful woman with a gun to her head. "You're gonna tell us what we want to know RIGHT NOW or so help me GOD-"

"Clay!" Jax nearly shouts, getting his crew member's attention. "Relax."

Chibs walks over to lower Clay's weapon before gently pushing him away from the woman. "Easy there, lad," the older man says in his Scottish accent, patting Clay on the shoulder. It's no secret that Clay is the main Samcro member to have some sort of dislike against black people, so the fact that his good buddy whom he introduced the club to and loved like a brother was murdered by a black man only makes his anger and hatred grow even bigger.

"Look, you know where he is," Jax says to the woman. "I know you know where he is so you might as well tell us. You're only making this hard on yourself."

"Please, I'm telling you the truth," the woman continues to cry. "I don't know where he is." Jax just stares at her and doesn't say anything.

"What if she really doesn't know anything?" Juice ask, starting to believe that that's really the case. "No. No, she knows something," Tig says, walking over to the woman and raising his gun up at her head. "So I suggest you tell us something, lady. We ain't got all night."

The woman stays quiet, locking eyes with Jax as more tears fall down her face. "I'm not telling you a damn thing," she says before closing her eyes. After a few seconds of waiting, Tig pulls the trigger sending a bullet through the woman's head. The room falls into silence, broken only by the metallic click of Tig's gun as he lowers it. Blood pools beneath the chair, but Jax doesn't move. His jaw tight, eyes locked on the lifeless body. Chibs shifts in the corner while Happy turns his head to look away from the dead body. No one speaks. The woman had chosen defiance over survival, and now her silence echoes louder than any confession. Jax gets up out of the chair, voice low and cold, "Let's go." The men leave the home, not even caring about the mess they leave behind.

"So how are we suppose to find this motherfucker now?" Clay impatiently ask.

"We don't," Jax tells him. "Eventually, he'll lure himself out. And as soon as he does.... We'll be ready." The men get into a black van and drives off into the night, heading back to the club's garage.
