NEXT MORNING
As the morning sun streams through the window, its gentle rays illuminate the cabin, casting a soft glow on the tranquil atmosphere within. Tay, Singto, and Jan sit in contemplative silence, each cradling a cup of coffee.
The air is filled with the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee, a comforting contrast to the tension that lingers.
Singto and Jan exchange fleeting glances, their expressions a mix of curiosity and confusion.
The earlier message from Arm, with its sense of urgency and unspoken gravity, hangs in the air like an unanswered question.
The silence between them is palpable, punctuated only by the occasional soft clinking of coffee cups against saucers and there sitting Tay, seemingly lost in thought, stares into the depths of his coffee, his expression calm but his mind preoccupied with the last night conversation with Arm.
The others sense the weight of Arm's words, their anticipation growing with each passing moment.
As the sun rises higher, its rays begin to dance across the room, casting subtle shadows and highlighting the uncertainty etched on their faces.
The question lingers: 'What could Arm possibly want to discuss with such urgency?' The silence is almost tangible, a precursor to the revelations that the meeting promises to bring.
Jan and Singto glancing at each other they can sense tension in Tay's calmness.
suddenly the door swung open revealing Arm enters with Off behind him, carrying a thick file and with a jaw clenched, mirroring same tension Tay's.
the atmosphere in the cabin thickens. Tay looks up, his thoughts halted, signaling everyone to take their seats with a subtle glance.
Off and Arm take their usual places, Arm handing the file to Tay before taking his position by the monitor.
The lights dim, leaving only the soft glow of the monitor screens reflecting on their faces. Arm stands by the monitor, his face a mask of tension and the weight of the situation.
He looks at everyone, then at Tay, seeking silent permission to begin.
Tay's nod grants it, and Arm taps keys on his laptop. Images start appearing on the screen – some familiar faces, some unknown. But one image grabs everyone's attention: a particular person. the person they've been tracking for weeks "Anthapan".
He shakes hands with some foreigners, a smirk on his face, surrounded by his men and other images where taken from some places like port sides, warehouses and old factories.
The group's eyes were fixed on the screen, their faces reflecting a mix of shock, curiosity, and concern.
The images seemed to tell a story, but the narrative was still unclear. Many questions played in their minds:
What was Anthapan's connection to these foreigners? What was the significance of these locations?
And what lay behind the smirk on his face?
The tension in the room was palpable, the only sound of the soft hum of the monitors and the quiet breathing of the group.
Arm's sudden voice caught their attention as he began to explain,
Arm: "So, when Off told me about the code, I started digging into it, and I got information from my sources that they're planning a smuggling deal next week. They're trying to smuggle a huge amount of drugs out of the country through the southern border."
Tay's eyes narrowed slightly as he asked, "Are you sure, Arm, that this deal is going to happen next week? Not before this?"
Arm turned towards him, meeting his gaze with a firm nod. His voice was confident yet respectful.
