- Seoul 2025 -
Park Jimin is a construction worker by day who studies to become a contemporary dancer by night; he meets architect Min Yoongi by chance at the construction site where they both work.
But the beginning between them proves complicated...
Taehyung rushed into the house. He had to give important news to his friend.
"Jimin?" he shouted.
No response.
He started looking around and as he took off his coat and shoes, he noticed that Jimin's were at the entrance, so he had to be there.
It was Saturday and there was a bright day in Seoul, one of those days when spring explodes and already calls summer evenings, carrying with it promises of perfect dawns and sunsets in company, of music and sensuality. The boulevards were tree-lined and cherry blossoms fell along the streets, making daily life a little less serious and complicated with its implicit poetry.
Work had gone very well and Taehyung's editor had proposed a second book of travels and poems to be written within a year. The boy loved that type of publication because he could combine all his passions and even get paid for it.
No invented stories then, but real people, true tales, photographs, different cultures, music, food and poems that would express his states of mind.
The first book published on this model had been the one about France; Tae knew that the secret of success had been not only the journey itself but also the company of Jin and Jimin, who had contributed by giving the right intensity to the ensemble with their presence.
"Jimin, where are you?" still no response.
Taehyung thought that the boy might be resting in view of the appointment they would go to that evening. Yoongi had invited them together with Jin and others to a dinner to be able to have Jimin at his house without risks and following the boy's indications about taking it slow. Tae had found it an interesting choice and had seen his friend satisfied so he had gladly accepted; he also knew that Jungkook would be there, who had become in recent times a kind of background thought that almost never left him.
A white noise. Distracting and intense.
They communicated through messages almost every day, shared music, had decided to go together to some exhibitions of emerging artists and to various concerts. Despite Tae feeling like the weak link in the balance of their relationship, he was trying to cultivate a kind of friendship - and only friendship for the moment - with him, with devotion and interest. The boy ultimately fascinated him, he couldn't deny it, but he also considered him very risky for his emotional safety.

Tae opened the door to Jimin's room and found him lying on his back on the bed with his eyes open.
"Darling? Are you by any chance dead? Can you please not terrorize the children?"
Jimin smiled and turned to look at him.
"Wow," he said "You've changed your hair color, you've gone back to black with those wavy, wicked and charming locks, like in France. You look astonishing. How beautiful you are, my love."
