Ethan's pov
As I was doing some homework and Jane was drawing, at our dinner table
" It must be pretty embarrassing to need a babysitter in high school. " She said.
" Yeah, well at least I'm not a bed wetter, " I reply as she sticks her tongue at me, as my mom and dad come down and walk over to us.
" Howdy partners. " Mom said in a country accent.
" Ain't she purdy as a 20-dollar bill in a 10-gallon hat?" Dad said in his country accent. " Oh well thank you, kind sir.
"Wow, you two look great Mommy and Daddy, " Jane commented.
"Aww thank you, sweetie. We're going country line-dancing. " She said
" Yeah, I kind of noticed, um, Mom? Dad? I just wanted to say you guys were right. I shouldn't have left Jane intended last week, I learned my lesson, so you can cancel the sitter and save 25 dollars. " I said trying to convince them.
" Ethan, I already told you, I'm not going to leave you alone with Jane until I know you can be trusted. " She said.
" Sorry pal, but she's the sheriff, look bud, me and your mom are just looking out for you, and your sister, just stay inside ok? " My dad asked
" Fine! I'll be in my room. Alone. " I packed up my homework and made my way upstairs. But before I got into my room I overheard my mom and dad talking.
" I don't know Ross. I'm not sure we should go out, it's going to be a full moon tonight what if something happens to him and we're not here to help him?" She said in a worried tone facing her husband. Was she talking about me? I can tell by the sound of her heartbeat, she was worried about something.
" Hey, hey, Sammy calm down. Look Ethan is going to be fine trust me. He has been 15th for months now if he was going to turn he would have done it by now, listen I promise you we'll be right by his side when it happens." He said trying to calm her down. Full moon? Turning? What are they talking about? After that, they ended the conversation so I went into my room.
*Next Scene, Ethan's room*
I was in my room alone, doing my homework while listening to some music when Benny called for a video chat.
" Hey, man any sign of the babe-o-sitter yet?" He asked
" No, I'm staying in my room as a form of protest," I reply dryly.
" Well, I'm not. First sign of Babezilld approaching and I am there." He said
" Yeah, good luck with that dude," I said, downstairs Mrs. Mogen was waiting for Erica " Shouldn't she be here by now?" She said
*Next Scene*
Sarah pov
" Hey," I said greeting my best friend right behind her.
" Sarah, oh my gosh, you scared me." She said startled.
" Sorry, I wanted to apologize. I haven't been the greatest friend lately." I said
" Yeah, I miss hanging out with you. You don't even text me anymore, what's going on?" She asked
" I know, things are kind of weird right now. I can't really-" trying to explain. " No, it's ok, I get it. I'm not cool enough for you since you started dating Jesse." No that's not it I swear." I'd said. " Then what? We're supposed to be organizing this fan club screening together." She said
" I know, my life is just really complicated right now," I told her.
"This is the one we get to find out if he bites her or not." She said
