"Told you he'd send Happy" Gen said elbowing Tia playfully with an amused smile plastered on her face as she got out her seat influencing her sister to follow suit.
"Hey Happy what a pleasant surprise to see you here..at the ice cream parlour.. and not my house"
"Well we would've picked you up at the intended location, but you weren't there so we had to find you" saying while looking around and observing the bright coloured parlour, "and seems this was destination you apparently wanted"
Gen immediately looked at her phone to see that they definitely lost track of time
"Shoot, sorry Happy I didn't think we'd be here for long" she said lightly with a sheepish smile trying to collect her stuff off the table in a quick haste causing her sister to follow suit.
She thought for second as to what he meant by we.
And as she finally got her belongings together it hit her. The unusually empty ice cream parlour on warm summer day, the strange commotion of people outside.
"Wait..Happy what do you mean by we?" She asked suspiciously
"Mr Stark" he said in an obvious tone, arching his eyebrow as though she was meant to know this new found information.
"It really slips of the tongue doesn't it" Tia said absentmindedly
Gen shot a look at her with mild disapproval deeming the moment but with slight amusement.
"Just saying" Tia said lifting her hands in defence.
Gen now focused back on the situation at hand was led in thought as to why on earth would Tony need accompany them on their way to the tower. Must be important she thought.
"Stark? Why would he be coming with us?" She said as she letting a faint laugh escape her mouth before she could help it, clearly confused as to why he'd need to be here.
"Did you not receive an email entailing everything you'd need to know for this week?"he said as though It was a given, "It was sent out almost a month ago" Happy said in mild disbelief as to how she didn't know.
"Oh.. right...i don't really check my emails like that anymore"she said admitted playfully "I'm more of phone call typa gal one might say".
"Okay.Right. No big deal" he said waving off her clear confusion. "All he really wants to do is give you a little briefing before you enter the building. Like..a little heads if you will"
"A heads up on what exactly?.." she asked narrowing her eyes brows
"You know.. Things"
"Things?"
"Things" he repeated with a smile as though repeating made it clearer.
She blinked staring blankly at him . "Right.. Okay then". She said obviously not satisfied with the apparent answer but moving on anyway. " Well does he want me now or..?"
"Now would be great actually, so can you.." signalling in the direction of her sister as though to say her goodbyes.
She immediately caught on."Oh ye, okay. Just give me a second. 5 minutes" she said as though trying to bargain time.
"Five minutes?" he said as though hoping that was all she needed.
"Five minutes" she said assuredly.
"While you're waiting for her you should probably check on Mr. Stark, because the crowds getting bigger..." Tia said playfully letting out a chuckle,gesturing towards the increasingly larger crowd of people surrounding a black SUV.
