Shen Wen Lang was packing his things into his suitcase when Lele walked into his room.

"Wen Lang Dad, is it true you're moving to the house next to Lele's?" Peanut asked eagerly.

Shen Wen Lang nodded. "Yes."

"Then I want to come with you!" Peanut declared without hesitation.

Shen Wen Lang shook his head. "You'll be staying here at the hotel."

Peanut's face twisted in protest. "No! I want to come with you."

Shen Wen Lang frowned slightly. "Your parents will get mad at me."

"I don't care! I'm not a little kid anymore, so I have the right to decide for myself!" Peanut shot back, his tone firm and determined.

Shen Wen Lang couldn't help but chuckle at Peanut's bold words. He leaned down a bit and teased, "Oh? Since when did you grow up this much?"

But instead of laughing, Peanut's eyes welled up with tears.

Shen Wen Lang's smile faded, and he let out a soft sigh. "Alright, fine," he said gently. "But you have to behave, okay?"

Peanut's tears vanished in an instant, replaced by a bright grin that stretched from ear to ear. "Promise!"

Shen Wen Lang shook his head in amusement. "You're really something, you know that?"

Peanut giggled, "I know." he said proudly.

Without warning, Peanut wrapped his arms around him in a warm hug. But Shen Wen Lang, never one for clingy displays of affection, gently pushed him away.

That didn't stop Peanut from teasing him. "What's wrong, Wen Lang Dad? Afraid of a hug?"

Shen Wen Lang gave him a flat, almost bored look. "You really are Hua Yong's son... good at manipulating people."

Peanut blinked in confusion, his smile fading slightly. "What's manipulating, Wen Lang Dad?"

"Nothing," Wen Lang replied, brushing it off. "Just think of it as a compliment."

Peanut tilted his head, studying him suspiciously. "You sure? 'Cause it didn't sound like a compliment."

Wen Lang smirked faintly. "If it came from me, it's already rare enough. Take it before I change my mind."

Peanut's lips curled into a mischievous smile. "Then I'll take it as a big compliment."

Meanwhile, Gao Tu and Ma Heng noticed workers busy renovating the apartment right next to Gao Tu's place.

Ma Heng frowned and asked, "Did the previous tenants move out already?"

Gao Tu shrugged. "I don't know."

They were about to go inside Gao Tu's apartment when someone stopped them. It was Mrs. Zhang, the owner of the building. Both Gao Tu and Ma Heng bowed respectfully to her since she was quite old.

Gao Tu noticed Mrs. Zhang was carrying a lot of things. She said, "I just wanted to say goodbye because I'm leaving."

Gao Tu frowned. "Leaving? Mrs. Zhang, what happened?"

Mrs. Zhang sighed. "Someone already bought the whole building. I'm no longer the owner."

"The buyer paid a huge amount that I couldn't refuse," she added, shaking her head slightly. "Honestly, I don't understand why they chose my building of all places to buy."

Gao Tu smiled gently. "Maybe... maybe the new owner expects the value of this neighborhood to go up. Or they plan to renovate and rent it out for a good profit."
