she was in the middle of nowhere. Surrounded by dead looking trees with barely any life to them, the sky was a black blanket, and the moonlight was dim.
Sounds of animals were in the far distant yet she couldn't help but feel as if eyes were on her, following her. Chills went down her spine as she continued to walk further.
She had no idea how far she'd walked in all honesty. The sky was still dark, the air cold, yet it was silent now. She couldn't hear any sounds. No animals sang into the night anymore. She could only hear her breathing and rapid heartbeat drumming I her chest like a hammer.
She was Surrounded by the eerily looking trees and night sky, until she heard a voice...a sweet voice. Singing softly....she couldn't quite catch the words properly, unfortunately. Yet the voice had been so sweet, calming and....it was as if it was calling for her. A golden thread trying to lure her towards its warm embrace. She was very tempted to follow it,
Her feet moved on their own, as if they no longer followed her instructions. A mind of their own now controlled them. The Singing got louder, nearer. She felt it reaching for her.....almost, almost there she thought....
Wake up! Wake up immediately!'
Angelica woke up startled, she looked around herself and realised she was still in the big halls. In the blue shift. The person who woke her was Elena. She looked worried yet in a hurry
