season one CHAPTER 015
"Small town rumors."
DECEMBER 17th, 2023 Sunday
Natalie had a hoodie on as her hair was tucked in. She didn't want eyes on her since the only text she has gotten all day were about her and Isaac.
She was currently standing next to Grace and Skylar as Kiley stood behind the counter in the Lark. Natalie leaned her head on the glass, completely zoned off of their conversation.
All she knew is that after Grace dropped her off, there was a huge fight that involved Cole and Alex and even Jackie.
Luckily, that was a bit higher in gossip than her make out sesh with Isaac.
Her friends had already nagged her about that kiss, but she begged them to stop as she didn't want to talk about it, today at least.
"Seriously?" Natalie hears a familiar voice. She looks up just to spot Jackie, leaning against the counter at the words of her friend's gossip.
"You and me both." Natalie grumbles, rubbing her eyes that were covered by glasses.
"Okay, can you blame us?" Grace groans, grabbing her coffee and walking towards the table as the others follow. "I mean, that bonfire fight between Cole and Alex was the most exciting thing to happen in Silver Falls ever."
They all sat down, Natalie sitting by Skylar as the other two sat across from them. Kiley walked around, serving Skylar and Grace their food.
"I can blame you. You're supposed to be my friends." Jackie whines, "You shouldn't be adding to the gossip." she crosses her arms as Natalie points harshly in agreement.
"I wouldn't worry." Skylar leans closer to them. "This'll all blow over soon, and you'll be able to move on." He points out before signing. "Like how i'm moving on from the whole Nathan situation." He sticks his hands out.
Natalie turns her head slowly to look at him, raising an eyebrow.
Skylar and Grace face-timed her last night with everything she missed after she left, including how harshly skylar ending this with her favorite walter.
"Oh you are? 'Cause rumor has it you're both not really done done." Grace teases.
Grace looks at Natalie for validation since she is friends with Nathan. "What?" he looks back at the others.
