NOTE: D/n means daughter name.
He was leaned over next to you on the bed, you were finished pushing and tired and sweaty but there wasn't a moment you wished for more than now. Your daughter's hand was wrapped around Satoru's pointer finger, holding it tightly while she was cupped into your chest.
You laid there, all sweaty and extremely emotionally and mentally exhausted. Satoru was in a complete state of awe, he moved and sat next to your bed with her in his arms.
"She's so tiny..." he whispered and let her grip his pointer finger tightly.
You were laying on your side and smiled at the sight of him with her. He reached into his pocket and your eyes were slowly falling shut, he pulled his phone out and put it to his ear.
"Nanaminnnnnn! Answer the phone when you get a chance! You don't always have to ignore me, especially after I got you that computer since yours is old. I have a surprise to tell you but I won't say it over the phone!" Satoru announced in an annoying tone over the phone.
Your lashes were just barely grazing over your eyesight before you realized...Satoru didn't know.
"Um...Satoru?" You mumbled and your light and happy expression quickly faded.
"Yes, baby?"
"There's something you should know about Kento-"
"Tell me after you get some rest. If he doesn't answer we can just invite him over, I want to meet that bakery woman he was seeing last time we talked too!" Satoru had a smile on his face that you really didn't want to take away.
You nodded and turned over, everything was so emotional recently you felt yourself wanting to cry again. You didn't want to cry in front of him and ruin his mood but...after finding out that Suguru was the one who sealed Satoru and on top of that Kento was dead. It was too much, too much that not even he could bear to handle.
You didn't want to put that kind of dim on his mood but you were obviously sad about it all, Kento was the closest thing he had to a best friend. You slept on your side, facing the opposite way of Satoru and wanting to get some sleep.
"Y/n? Are you crying? What's wrong?" He tilted his head to the side and stared at you, you slowly laid flat on your back and turned your head to look at him while your daughter started to fall asleep in his arms.
"Kento is...dead, Satoru. I'm really sorry," you looked at him with full-on tears in your eyes...again.
He didn't have any facial reaction, he just stared back at you silently. He didn't say anything for a moment, didn't breathe, all he did was blink at you.
"That's not possible, it's only been a month or two, right? That couldn't have happened in such a short time," he muttered in disbelief, you weren't expecting that reaction but then you realized he had no sense of time at all.
"It's been more than a month or two...it's been five months," you mumbled hesitantly.
"What? Five? So I missed b/n's first day of school? Wait? You weren't due for another seven months so I missed all of that too...?" His voice was a little shaky, shaky with sadness and instant regret almost.
It was all hitting him, all at once. He was now grasping how much he missed out on, this was a moment you never even prepared for. You didn't consider the fact that his sense of time would be completely ruined, leaving him disoriented.
"I decided that b/n shouldn't go into school until the fall so you could be there for his first day. I went into labor early with you gone so I was only seven months along...I haven't done any baby shopping either so..." you suggest, hoping that would be enough for him.
