Madelyn and James Potter were once inseparable, they would do everything together and sometimes Madelyn's friend Aurora and James friend Peter would join along. That all began to crumble when they turned eleven, Aurora was moving to Paris and James and Peter were going to Hogwarts. All four of the children knew about the magical world since they were purebloods but their parents told them not to downgrade someone based on their blood type.

Once James came back during Christmas break he wouldn't stop rambling on about his new friends Sirius and Remus, James obviously was sorted into Gryffindor and was still friends with Peter, surprisingly. James told Maddy that she had to get into Gryffindor, saying it was the best house, and when James left again the house felt empty.

Maddy would look across the street where her best friend used to live, she'd stay there for hours, James was at school who could tell her to move. Maddy dreaded summer with James all he talked about was him and his friends, of course she wanted to go to Hogwarts and share James experiences, but she was jealous of how much he talked about his friends it was as if Maddy didn't exist anymore.

Once Maddy finally got her letter, she was beaming with excitement, so was James he was glad he could share his world with his baby sister, but no one would expect Maddy to be sorted into Slytherin especially since she was the sweetest girl who'd never shut up. Literally sometimes. Her parents wasn't disappointed in her, they were glad that the two siblings could share different experiences at the same school, James never said it directly but his emotions said it all,he ignored her at school, Peter would sometimes say hi but to James Maddy didn't exist at school.

Now going into her sixth year and James going into her seventh, Maddy made a huge decision, she decided to go to the states for James last summer. Their parents question her many times, considering this was the only time Maddy and James talked were over breaks, but Maddy wouldn't change her mind.

After coming back, Maddy was a different person, her style her hair, her scent. She changed completely, now going into sixth year with her friend group, what could possibly go wrong.
