Aira ran as fast as she could towards home. That was too close! Now she had gotten herself in trouble with the ninja! Let's face it she wasn't a very good thief. She stopped and kicked at a trash can in frustration.
Just then she realized, "I don't even have the medicine! What was the point of that if I didn't even get the medicine!"
Aira had had enough. She sunk down against the alley wall and began to cry. Life wasn't fair!
"Are you alright, young one?"
Aira scrambled up and away from the stranger. She glanced at him warily. He looked old and he had a long pointy beard. He carried a bamboo stick. She assumed it was to help him walk.
"Who are you?" She asked guardedly.
"My name is Wu," he said standing in place. "I was in town buying some things for my new tea shop."
"Wait are you the same guy that opened Steep Wisdom," she asked. "The one that went out of business less than a week after it opened."
"Yes," he answered shaking his head. "We ran into complications but that's beside the point. Why were you crying?"
"Sorry if I seem skeptical," Aira said. "I don't typically have random strangers come up to me in the middle of the night and ask me things."
"Understandable," Wu answered. He looked at her carefully. He knew full well who she was. Why do you think he made a store run in the middle of the night?
"Look I just need to get home-"
"You didn't answer my question," Wu persisted.
"If I tell you will you leave me be," Aira asked. She wasn't trying to be rude but this was strange.
"That's depends on whether you will leave me be," Wu answered.
Aira looked at him rather confused, "um- ok? I lost some medicine I needed for my mom, and I can't afford more."
"So you need a job?"
"Yes," Aira felt her hopes rise slightly. "I haven't been able to find one."
Wu pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to her. "Consider yourself hired."
"Wait what?!"
"Be there at eight o'clock sharp," Wu commanded.
Aira couldn't believe the luck she just had, "yes, Sir! Thankyou I-"
"We will see who needs to be thanked after this," Wu said turning around and walking back towards the street.
Aira stared after him. That was almost the weirdest encounter she had ever had. It was almost like he knew who she was. Plus she had no idea what he was saying half the time. She looked down at the piece of paper. An address was scribbled on it along with the shops name. The Four Winds Tea Shop.

"Lloyd!" Misako said rushing to him. "What happened?"
"I'm fine, mom," he said. "It's just a little cut."
"Lloyd," Wu said entering the room, "do not worry."
"What do you mean, 'don't worry'? She just got away," Lloyd said exasperatedly.
"Fate is always not as it seems," Wu said waiving his hand. "And wrong is never right but it can be turned right."
"Care to translate," Jay asked.
"Patience," Wu said sipping his tea.
"I'm pretty sure that had nothing to do with what you said," Cole said sarcastically.
"I believe he means patience to find out what he is talking about," Zane informed.
Lloyd just shook his head and left the main room. He went into the bathroom and examined his wound.
I really hope that doesn't scar, he grumbled to himself.
He picked up a cloth and began to wipe away the blood. At least she hadn't hit his eye. Lloyd sighed. The cut was in such a weird spot that he was going to have to wrap a cloth all the way around his head to cover it. Now his mom was really going to worry.
"Here," Zane said walking in. He handed him a long swath of gauze. "Put that on before you bandage it. It will allow it to breath preventing any major scaring."
"You read my mind, Zane," Lloyd said smiling. He wrapped it around his head and then covered it with a strip of cloth.
"I am not a mind reader," Zane said with confusion.
"It's a figure of speech," Lloyd laughed while pulling his hair down in an attempt to cover the bandage.
"I do not understand most of your 'figure of speeches'," Zane said shaking his head. "They make no sense."
"What a killjoy," Kai said going by. "By the way, did you get a good look at our new wind master?"
"Not really," Lloyd said. "If I saw her again I would know her."
"Why has she been breaking into a pharmacy?" Zane asked.
"I'm assuming to get medicine," Lloyd said shrugging. "It's not necessarily that that I'm worried about. It's the fact that she is an elemental master and she obviously has no idea how to use it. Not to mention that she is probably related to Morro in some way."
"Why are you all talking in the bathroom," Nya said poking her head in.
"Why do girls go to the bathroom in droves," Kai retorted.
"I'm just saying," she said throwing up her hands. Kai laughed and followed her out.
"Well," Zane said starting to leave. "I'm powering down for the night. Goodnight, Lloyd."
"Goodnight, Zane," Lloyd said and walked towards his room. Then he mumbled to himself, "if I can get any sleep."
Ever since Morro's possession and his father's death, his dreams had been racked with nightmares. Most of them didn't make sense but for some reason they scared him. It was as if he was catching wisps of what Morro was scared of. You learn a lot about a person when they are in your head. Yet there was still so much he didn't know.
