"Alright, you can't tell the guys that I told you this ok? They made me swear that I wouldn't tell." Zelo said in hushed tones.
"What is it?" Yongguk repeated.
"So brace yourself. Himchan said that after spending all that time with Jieun during musical practice acting like they're a couple and always having to do those kiss scenes together, that he's actually starting to have feelings for her."
"WHAT?" Yongguk raised his voice, making his word echo in the halls.
Zelo's mouth curved into a smile, "No I'm completely joking, I just said that for fun. Your reactions are really predictable. And you're pretty gullible too."
Yongguk straightened his face and shoved his hands into his pockets so that they wouldn't be used to choke Zelo. "Of course I would believe you if you said that, he's been spending so much time with her, doing things that I should be doing with her."
"Like telling her that you love her?" Zelo smirked.
"Yeah," Yongguk nodded determinedly," Tonight is the opening of the musical and when she's done with her show, I'll drive her home and that's when I will tell her."
"Too bad Himchan already beat you to it."
"Shut up, that's what he has to say in the musical."
"Yes! It's finally opening night. I've been preparing for this my whole life." Nayeon applied ample amounts of stage makeup on her face and drank hot lemon tea to soothe her voice.
"I still don't understand how you're the main character but don't even have a kiss scene, while I on the other hand have to kiss Himchan like 3 times throughout the whole thing," I scrunched my face just thinking about it.
"Don't worry you're gonna do great! You and Himchan's characters look soo good together."
"Yongguk and all the other guys are gonna be in the audience tonight. Is it normal to feel this nervous? I want everything to go really well---" Before I could say anything more, there was a knock at our dressing room.
"Can I come in or are you girls still changing?" Himchan said from the other side of the door.
"You can come in!" Nayeon shouted as Himchan entered and she exited, "I'm gonna go get my mic."
"Hey, how are you feeling?" Himchan asked while checking himself out in the mirror like the conceited guy that he is.
"Really nervous," I said in almost a whisper. "Almost like throwing-up-nervous but not really? I know there's a lot of people out there."
"Just calm down, and besides, if I'm out there with you, everyone will pay attention to me anyway," Himchan said making me laugh.
"I wish I felt as confident as you are right now. My stomach is getting butterflies," I cupped my cheeks with my hands and I could feel them burning up from the anxiety.
"Hey, look at me," Himchan placed his hands on top of mine so that I was now looking directly at him, "It's alright, just relax. Just go out there and do it like we have during every practice. There's no reason to be nervous. Your performance might not be as good as mine, but I'm sure you'll do ok."
I scoffed at Himchan's egotistical comment, but he made me laugh again," Wow that makes me feel muuuch better. Hmm I think I do feel better now actually. Thanks for calming me down. Let's both do our best tonight," I tiptoed slightly and gave Himchan a kiss on the cheek. It didn't really mean anything since we were constantly directed to do that in the script.
