Devonte and Dave

Dave Osborne is outside enjoying the breeze from the wind when he gets an unexpected visitor.

Dave: Well, well, well, if it isn't Devonte the One.

Devonte: Dave, my guy, how are you doing on this fine evening?

Dave: Eh, doing alright. I'm just enjoying the nice breeze. Anyway, how can I help?

Devonte: I might need your help with something.

Dave: Dude, no offense, but last time I checked, you're pretty much stronger in your own right. So why do you need my help for anyway.

Devonte: (Nervous laughter) It's a long story.

Dave: (Sigh) Alright, I got time.

A few minutes later, at Dave's house, Devonte then explained what had happened while Dave drinks soda.

Dave: Wow! First of all, damn couldn't be me. Second of all, sorry about your sensei.

Devonte: Eh, you cool, man.

Dave: Third of all, why come to me at all?

Devonte: Huh, because you're my buddy.

Dave thought about it a minute, and he had the answer.

Dave: Ah, what the hell. Sure, why not just let me get my stuff.

Devonte: What stuff?

A few hours later

Dave: Alright, let's go.

Devonte: Dude, why do you have a backup, and is that a portal gun?

Dave: Yup, you see I was over at the Rick and Morty universe, and Rick was kind enough to give me a portal for multiverse travel, and as for the backpack, it's a pocket dimension backpack.

Devonte: You're lying.

Dave opened the backpack, and when Devonte looked inside, he was super surprised.

Devonte: Holy shit!

Dave: I know. I was thinking, what if I put a pocket dimension in a backpack, and so I did the impossible and created the Dimension Backpack.

Devonte: You, sir, are a fucking genius.

Dave: Yup! So you're ready?

Devonte: I was born ready.

Dave: Excellent!

Dave uses the Portal Gun to open a portal to start their journey.

Dave: I won't lie, Devonte. The journey ahead will be filled with obstacles, so I hope you're ready for this.

Devonte: On my mama's, I'm ready!

Dave: Well then, let's go!

And so this is the start of Devonte the One and Dave Osborne adventure.
