Vampire WIP story

Introduction (just to post this so far)

    Silvia lost her daughter one night when she found her daughter had left her bedroom window open. The only issue is, her daughter's bedroom is 4 stories high. Silvia, investigative journalist and reporter, won't stop searching for her daughter or who or what took her daughter. Meanwhile, deep in New Orleans, a man and his unsettling family live and hunt their prey. The only people that can help Silvia find her daughter are agents of a government laboratory, but can she trust them?

Set in 1996, New Orleans.
