Daring to Tell the Truth
"Truth or dare, Louis," Niall offered me as we sat in a circle on the floor of our tour bus surrounded by empty bowls that once contained snacks. They had been emptied about three hours ago. We were on our way to a new city for a concert.
My eyes flickered from each boy of the band until they landed on Niall. Everyone looked anxious. A mischievous glint shone in Niall's blue eyes. Reluctantly, I chose dare.
"I dare you to kiss Harry."
"No way," I mumbled. I wasn't one to pass off a dare though, and I did have a little crush on the Cheshire boy, but I was terrified to ask if he liked me back. I looked down at my hands that limply lay on my lap. I blushed lightly.
Everyone except Harry and I laughed, and I felt eyes trained on me.
Jeez, I thought, slightly pouting. It's not like my life depended on the dare.
Suddenly, the bus came to an abrupt stop.
"Sorry, boys," The driver's voice boomed out towards us. "I'm just going to go buy some more Red Bull. And when you gotta go, you gotta go..."
Zayn, Niall, and Liam rushed out of the bus, all muttering something that they wanted. Harry stayed though, intent on his phone. This was awkward. How cliche this was going to be...
I scooted over towards Harry, peering over his shoulder at his phone. He was concentrating on something he was searching up on Google.
I nudged Harry with my elbow. "What are you searching up, Mr. Styles?" I grinned as I stared at his phone screen.
He pressed enter and I realized he was on Google images and he searched "Larry Stylinson".
He didn't notice me blush madly.
There was a ton of images of Harry and I together. Love bites, hugs, there was even a picture of Harry whispering to me and there was a caption that said, "I can get down on my knees and suck you out right here in public."
We shared a laugh at that picture. There was also a couple of pictures of Harry with his arms stretched out with captions. "Bring it on, Eleanor!" one said. "I've seen Louis'! It's this big!" another one read.
We did this for another minute or so before Harry turned himself towards me.
"Harry?" I asked, staring into his eyes. Those green eyes...
"Yes?" his husky voice snapped me back into reality.
"Why were you searching up Larry Stylinson?"
Harry just grinned and leaned towards me. "You need to do your dare, don't you? Those pictures were just to get you motivated. You know, you're too good for Eleanor."
I stared at him while he merely gazed at me, a seductive smirk on his face. He leaned a little bit closer so our noses brushed. All I could hear was my heart pounding and our breathing.
This is it, I thought.
I lightly pressed my lips to his, and he pulled me closer, deepening the kiss.
The boys walked in on us, their arms full of junk food and energy drinks. Harry and I quickly pulled apart, but a line of saliva still connected us. I broke it quickly with my finger.
"What... are you doing?" Zayn asked as Niall and Liam gaped at the same time.
"Doing your dare," I claimed, pecking Harry on the cheek and intertwining my fingers with his. For the rest of the night, it was awkward between me and Harry and the boys.
When I was about to fall asleep that night, I felt breath tickling my ear and a certain husky voice whispering, "I love you." in my ear.
"I love you too. A lot." I mumbled back as I drifted into sleep.
