"That fucker poisoned me!" I gasped, thinking back to the trip over here... she was really insistent on my trying that weird champagne looking shit.

Once the gravity of the situation really set in, it was time to make an escape plan.

Yelena and I had been contemplating the possible ways out, but the other two weren't very keen on working together, and Bob was kinda just there.

"Hey, job or not, can you have some respect, please?" Yelena chastised Ava for taking the dead ladies belongings.

"Yeah, Jesus," Walker commented before also looting stuff from the body. Yelena and I glared at him, "what? She would've wanted me to have it."

"Did you even know her?" I asked.

"I needed it," Walker surmised. Then, our already poor situation got worse. The lights went out, replaced by a red line of light around the room, followed by a loud 'warning' siren. "What the hell is that?"

"That doesn't sound like a shredder," Ava pointed out, "it's an incinerator."

"Oh shit," I pointed at a timer on the wall.

"Two minutes," Yelena read aloud, "then Valentina's slate is wiped clean."

All of us agreed on that fact besides Walker of course. "Yeah, how do you know that for sure? Could be for anything- could be for when they come to pick me up."

"Unbelievable," I rolled my eyes.

"Do you feel that? The temperature rising dramatically as if heat were involved?" Ava's annoyed sarcasm would've made me laugh if we weren't about to get fried.

Walker paused, nodding slightly before giving in, "ok, it's an incinerator."

"Oh boy, that is no way to go," Bob shook his head as he sounded weirdly calm about our impending doom.

"How would you like to die today Bob?" Walker snapped back, to which I swiftly slammed my heel into his foot. "Ow! What the hell was that for?"

"Ok, ghost-lady," Yelena spoke up.

"Ava-"

"Sure, whatever, don't care- we need to get you through the wall so that you can open the door."

"She tried that already," Walker stated.

"I know she did, but we haven't tried shutting down the sound barrier," Yelena suggested.

Walker nodded, "if they built it just for her, it's gotta be an independent power source." Yelena sighed, her face and hand gesture screaming 'exactly!'

All five of us frantically searched around the room as the timer slowly ticked down. With each second that passed, the tension grew.

"What- what exactly are we looking for," Bob asked.

"Don't ask stupid questions, Bob," Walker retorted.

"Oh for fuck sake Walker- it'll probably be some sort of electrical box-lookin' thing, okay?" I answered Bob's question since clearly all Walker wanted to do was waste time.

"O-okay, yea, got it," he nodded nervously.

Less than a minute was left. I was starting to really lose hope, so I just looked at him, taking in all the details of his face that I had missed so much when, "I think I found it," Yelena announced, her ear pressed against something metal.

Ava ran over. "Move!" She shouted before prying the panel open, revealing a bunch of wires.

"I can override this," Yelena said, but there was no time for that.
