"I can't believe you talked me into this."
I shushed Evan once again as we sat inside Evan's car. We currently sitting in the parking lot of Jason's school and scoping out the area before we planned our ambush. It's been only thirty minutes since we've arrived and I already had to shush Evan a total of ten times.
"You're such a punk." I rolled my eyes as I chewed on my Twizzler. So far we hadn't seen any sign of Jason as kids walked in and out of the school between classes. "We wouldn't still be sitting here if we'd just get out the car like I originally said."
"I'm not going out there and asking random people where Jason is! I don't even like the guy!"
"Well I do!" I yelled back and glared at him. I didn't let up on my glare until he sighed and slumped down in his seat. "Now if we don't see Jason within the next five minutes I'm getting out of this car and looking for him myself."
"I can't believe you dragged me here." Evan shook his head and let out a humorless laugh. "Fine, let's go, Dallas." He said and shut off his car.
His words surprised me and I choked on my piece of Twizzler. When I finally gained control of my breathing I sucked in a deep breath and looked at Evan with wide eyes. "Really?" I squeaked in excitement.
He chuckled and shrugged one shoulder. "Yes, really. I must really like you if I'm agreeing to do this." He smirked.
"Nope. You just don't want me to twist your nipple again." I replied and stuck out my tongue. "Now come on before you change your mind." I said and got out of his car.
The sun immediately began warming my exposed skin and I stretched out any kinks I got from sitting in Evan's car. I pulled my tank top down and adjusted my shorts so I looked presentable. A few passing students gave me quizzical looks but continued on their way.
"Ready?" I asked as I walked around the front of the car.
He sighed. "It's not like I have a choice."
I shrugged and started walking towards the front of the school. Every time I tried stopping someone to ask if they had seen Jason they just ignored me and kept walking. I huffed and stomped my foot until I saw a boy approaching me. "Excuse me." I politely said and stepped in front of him. "Can you tell me where Jason Perry is please?"
The boy's eyes roamed up and down my body and I immediately regretted my decision to stop him. "No, but how would you like to get to know me a little better?" He smirked.
I started backing up until I ran into a hard chest. I glanced up and saw Evan glaring at the boy with clenched fists. "She's with me so back the fuck up." Evan said and grabbed my arm before walking in the opposite direction.
It wasn't until we were a safe distance away that I finally stopped Evan and pried his fingers off my arm. "Thanks Evan, but I can walk by myself now."
He rolled his eyes. "Well excuse me for helping you. Next time some creep tries to push himself on you I'll just turn my head."
"Oh shut up and help me already."
"Fine, I'll ask this girl." He smirked and walked towards a girl whose shorts were definitely shorter than mine and her tube top was getting ready to slip down and expose her boobs any second. Of course he would ask the girl for help. Damn teenage boy hormones.
"Excuse me, gorgeous." Evan smirked and crossed his arms so his muscles bulged out which successfully caught her attention.
"I've never seen you around here. Are you new, handsome?" She batted her eyelashes at him and trailed her finger down his chest.
