The Impossible, Possible

Chapter Three: In New Orleans

The three ladies approached a hotel to settle in for the night seeing as it was close to midnight. "Hello, we would like to book a room. Two beds with couch pull-out would be best if you have any available." Caroline said as she approached the woman standing at the check-in desk. "Hello Miss, we happen to have one room left like that for tonight." The woman said. "Wonderful we'll take it." Caroline said as she pulled out the money for the room. The woman at the desk handed the three ladies room keys and wished them a good night.

When the three got into the room they were trying to figure out the bed situation. "I'll take the pull-out." Caroline said, her two friends both shouted "No." Caroline looked shocked at her friends. "You are pregnant Caroline, you need a good rest. I'll sleep on the pull-out." Elena said. Bonnie looked at Elena and said "Elena you did most of the driving, I'll sleep on the pull-out." Caroline looked at her friends, "You both did more driving than I did you two sleep on the beds." Caroline explained. "Here's what's going to happen I'm going to sleep on the pull-out you two are going to sleep on the beds Caroline you need your strength, Bonnie you need rest to make sure that you don't get found out." Elena said with finality in her voice. Not willing to fight over the sleeping situation they agreed.

On the other side of the French Quarter

Marcel walked in a Rousseau's to find Klaus. "There may be a problem." Marcel said directly to Klaus. "What problem?" Klaus said, only indulging due to boredom. "There were three people who just entered the Quarter that have magic in them but Davina can't pinpoint what they are." Marcel explained. Klaus thought for a moment, "That sounds like your problem, Mate." Klaus responded. "So you're not even a bit interested in what these three people are doing here. Clearly they know about the magic ban. The spell was done outside of city limits." Marcel said exasperated. "I'm not interested even in the slightest Marcel. I have other things to worry about." Klaus said standing from his bar to walk about the bar.

The next morning

The three ladies went to explore the city a bit, trying to stay out of the way of supernaturals and trying to find where the Mikaelson's live. By lunch the three were close to the hotel that they were staying at when they found a small cafe. Just a few minutes after they enter, the three hear a voice. "Well if this isn't a surprise" The three ladies turn there to see Rebekah. "Rebekah." Caroline said, making eye contact with the older vampire. "Why are the three of you here?" Rebekah questioned. "We can't talk here." Caroline replied. Rebekah gave a confused look at the three ladies. "We're staying at the hotel not from here we can talk there." Bonnie said as she stood up. The other stood and began to walk outside.

When they arrived at the hotel room they sat Rebekah down. "I haven't been feeling well, I've been feeling sick. Haven't been able to keep this down," Caroline started. Rebekah gave a look that said 'why are you telling this' "I talked to Bonnie and she found a spell that confirmed what's going on with me." Caroline said while getting and going to the bathroom to grab four pregnancy tests.

Last night

Caroline ran out for a second and when she returned she had a bag with her. Elena and Bonnie gave her a look. "I trust you a thousand percent Bonnie, but I need to do this" Caroline said holding up a pregnancy test. "It's okay Care, I understand you need physical proof." Caroline went to the bathroom and took the four pregnancy tests. When she came out of the bathroom she had tears streaming down her face. "It's true," Caroline said through tears. Elena and Bonnie hugged their friend. "I'm pregnant."

Back to the present

Caroline came out with the four pregnancy tests in hand and placed them in front of Rebekah to see. "This isn't a joke Bonnie did a spell to tell if someone was pregnant, and did this last night." Caroline said. Rebekah stood about to yell however Caroline stopped her. "The only person who could be the father is your brother, no one else." Caroline defended. "What about Nik's hybrid?" Rebekah asked. "I haven't been with Tyler in two months. I was with your brother four weeks ago. I started not feeling well two weeks after." Caroline explained. Rebekah sat back down. "So what I'm hearing is that you are somehow pregnant with my brother's baby." Rebekah said, trying to wrap her head around what she just heard. "I'm not lying, I'm still in shock." Caroline said. "So that's why the three of you are down here. You're trying to tell Nik." Rebekah said. Caroline shook her head yes. "You believe me?" Caroline asked quietly. "Yes I believe you I can hear a fifth heart beat in here." Rebekah said. "Oh right, that reminds me." Bonnie stated. Caroline looked at Bonnie as she pulled out a new daylight ring. "I know I was not the best of a friend when you first turned and that your current ring has situations to it but this one doesn't."Bonnie said, handing Caroline the new ring. "Bonnie" Caroline started but Bonnie stopped her. "The new ring has a spell of hiding so that the baby's heart will be hidden." Bonnie said. Caroline took off her old ring and put on the new one. This one was much nicer than the old ring, it had a branch pattern wrapping around the ring and the lapis stone in the middle was smaller and more dainty than the last ring. "Thank you Bonnie, I mean it, this ring is beautiful." Caroline said.

Chapter three done! Chapter four will be out soon hopefully. I really hope you all enjoyed reading the story so far. This story is going well so far on my end at least. By the way I suck at writing romance I will try my best in all of the books I have.
